Starting back to Fitness post birth can be daunting ! I have a course (which has been ongoing since 2010) covering simple but incredibly effective points enabling you back to your favourite gym or buggy classes ! Learn what to look out for during your recovery , understanding this enables you to answer those questions like “how to bathe my baby without hurting my back” , and that darn car seat it’s so heavy ! Learn How to protect yourself when having to lift or carry your baby
For some the first question is “when can I run again” this has many variables ! Get in touch !! I can see you from 6-10weeks post sometimes sooner!
I get asked regularly about how I personally approach your postnatal pelvic floor and abdominal rehabilitation and am very inspired by the success I've seen by my new moms who i see ! They fully understand what to look out for in their day to day activities and during exercise
PRENATAL AND UNSURE WHAT TO DO RE EXERICSE?
Pregnancy is an exciting time! It can also cause concern and anxiety for some new moms, especially if your journey to becoming pregnant was tough. Heidi offers safe and effective classes in her pilates studio of two people (and home visits in small groups) educating new moms to be the best suited exercises as well as techniques to strengthen the pelvic floor, your need to know core exercises , how you can take measures to strengthen and protect the area all around your pelvis and back ensuring that any associated aches and pains can easily be dealt with as your baby grows. Become body aware and more confident! Birth prep and development is also covered from 32 weeks on so there is no rush.
