Today we said goodbye to our very special resident, Blumah, who called Five Oaks her home for over 7 years. At her daughter’s request, we held her memorial here the place filled with so many of her memories. It was a truly beautiful and meaningful send-off. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. 💛

Today at Five Oaks we had a beautiful time celebrating Mother’s Day with our wonderful residents 💐❤️
There were smiles, laughter, and special moments shared as we honoured all the amazing mothers who have given so much love and care throughout their lives. We also had the joy of celebrating a very special birthday. Happy Birthday to our lovely resident Androulla 🎂🥳 Wishing you a day filled with happiness, love, and wonderful memories.

What a wonderful afternoon we had at our 2nd Business Networking Event held on Thursday at Five Oaks!
A big thank you to everyone who attended and made the event so special. We were especially delighted to welcome the Metropolitan Police, who always enjoy visiting Five Oaks and spending time with our residents, getting to know them and being part of our community.
It was a truly lovely occasion, with our residents getting wonderfully involved throughout the event. Our Head Chef prepared a beautiful spread of canapés and delicious food, and we were treated to fantastic entertainment from a talented jazz singer which created such a warm and vibrant atmosphere.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to many more events bringing our community together at Five Oaks.

Happy Friday!
Our lovely resident Aldo there’s never a dull moment with him. We’ve all learned something from him, as he’s always educating us on a thing or two. Today, he was even reminding our hairdresser, Elly, how to sing an Italian song!
He certainly keeps us all on our toes 😊

Today at Five Oaks, we had the joy of congratulating our wonderful team member, Rose, on her recent wedding celebration surrounded by everyone. 💍✨

Welcome to Five Oaks

Five Oaks is a purpose built Care Hotel with 44 ensuite bedrooms (registration for 45 residents), situated 5 minutes from junction 24 off the M25 on the prestigious Cockfosters Road at Hadley Wood, and was opened by Scimitar in February 1995.

At the front entrance porch it is possible to look through the reception area and see Barnet Church on the rear skyline behind Hadley Wood Golf Course. The building was designed to take advantage of the quite stunning views which are appreciated from all rear rooms and terraces.

With a magnificent interior, there is an air of a top star Hotel throughout. The Hall Lounge leads through to the main lounge which is designed to be both spacious yet allow for residents to converse openly with one another at their leisure. This then leads onto a separate television lounge, this then opens into the beautifully decorated Dining Room (with licensed bar).

On the lower ground floor there is the Garden Room which leads out to the comfortable patio terrace and large south west facing garden, a truly wonderful place to sit during the summer months with its breath taking views over the historical town of Barnet.
