We want customers to feel relaxed, welcome and confident that they are in good hands, and aim to provide specialist eye care for customers with learning disabilities and dyslexia; giving all our customers the understanding, kindness and time they require.
We felt that there was a lack of eye care services for people around the Barnham area, so we took an empty shell and transformed it into the Opticians it is today. Like any new business the early years were hard, but with the help of the local community and our loyal and hard-working team we’ve grown from strength to strength over the years, winning the

At Barnham Opticians we are committed to providing a high quality and friendly service; your eyes are precious, and their health is our number one priority. We have recently purchased an OCT which is an advanced piece of equipment, that does in depth analysis of the eye.
We are passionate about everything we do and this includes providing a professional and unique experience; beginning from initial customer contact and complete eyecare to aftercare and beyond. Our customers feel comfortable in returning to us with any questions and we pride ourselves on building good lasting relationships. This is reflected in the company culture that our team actively participate and believe in.
Our aim is to make a difference to every individual who telephones or walks through our door. Every customer receives continuity of care and is given the option to see the same Optometrist and Dispensing Optician whenever they visit. Equality and diversity are important to us and everyone is treated with respect. We offer NHS glasses through to top-of-the-range eye wear and cater to all budgets. Whether it be a customer who needs their glasses repaired or a customer purchasing eye wear, everyone is important to us and we extend that care and our expertise throughout, ensuring nobody feels rushed. An example of our willingness to help is offering to collect customers for appointments and transport home. We’ll deliver glasses if required and help people across the busy road.
