Parkside Care Home Welcome to Parkside Care Home, a compassionate and friendly environment dedicated to providing specialized care for individuals living with dementia.

At Parkside, we create a warm, homely environment where individuals feel valued, respected, and loved. Parkside is currently having pre booked 30min visits in our visiting room following a negative Covid LFT test families/visitors must call and book a slot before coming to the home mask gloves and aprons must be worn through out the visit.

As for the goat 🫣 we were hoping to let the residents meet salt and pepper, or maybe just the bravest one!! But they wouldn't wear their leads for transport, Saff Hinchliffe-Hunt tried over a few days and they weren't having any! It reminded me of going to a castle on the isle of Wight, where the donkeys who used to be literally worked to death, now have a contract that says they work a few minutes a day, but only if they want to. Thats how it should be innit? No fear though, we have a full morning with Leanimals Mobile Zoo on Tuesday next week. We're really looking forward to it xx

Then I got busy in the kitchen for our party tomorrow, Roxanne Kate Harper enjoyed helping today as well, she still misses her activity days 🩷 love ya rocky. Nice buns.. 😅she created some lovely nest buns, 🐣 I knocked up the residents favourite lemon cheesecake. 🍋 Wine or waters ready, 🍷🚰 tombolas ready, 🎟 raffles still running if anyone wants tickets. We're ready to welcome you tomorrow to raise some funds and party on with our residents. 🐣👒🐰 let's go xx
