The news is out...after 2 years of working in my daughters school, iv finally left and returned to Gems Home Help full time! Iv built this little company from the ground up, its my passion, its my love. Most of my old 'school' days have been filled but I do still have a couple of slots on Wednesday and Thursday. Especially looking for homes to help in the Bolton-on-Dearne area for fortnightly Friday cleans 💚

Iv had lots of new enquiries to my page recently enquiring about my hourly rate, availability etc. I appreciate the main barrier to asking for help is affordability, which can be a pretty awkward conversation starter.
My current rate is £15 per hour. I preferably like to keep my visits in between 90 mins and 3 hours, this is so no one feels rushed and I can also make as many visits during the day as possible. My days are quite full!
I currently have availability on Wednesday's and Thursday's from next week 😊

Not just a cleaner...today was all about confidence building. For the past few weeks iv been accompanying a lovely lady while she does her shopping. Not because she's unable, but because her confidence in leaving the house alone took abit of a knock. Just having that reassurance your not alone and help is there if you need it is all it takes to rebuild independence 💜
