Together, we can create and build meaningful connections that’ll improve the well-being of older residents in Pen*stone. By offering weekly one-to-one, friendly contact for just one hour a week, either on the phone or in person, you will help reduce loneliness and strengthen their sense of community belonging.

Our Warm Connections team attended the Darby and Joan Club at the Welfare Hall in Great Houghton on Friday 7th November.

We offered expert advice and information on our Small Measures service to disabled residents of Barnsley, helping them stay warm and safe. 💛

☕ Winter Warm Packs ☕

As part of our Warm Connections service, we can come and deliver Winter Warm Packs to help you stay warm during the colder months.

What’s in the packs: thermal socks, double duvet, foot warmers, thermal gloves, Cadbury hot chocolate, and Bachelors Cup a Soup.

To request a Winter Warm Pack, call or email Emma to find out if you qualify. You must be disabled or have a long-term health condition and be struggling with cost of living and energy prices.

🌟 DIAL’s 40th Birthday Celebrations and Art Show! 🌟

We celebrated 40 years of supporting, enabling, and empowering disabled people, their carers, and their families! It was a wonderful event that brought people from our community together.

To commemorate 4 decades of service from DIAL and, most importantly, our clients, who are at the heart of everything we do, we hosted an Art Show to unveil local talent and their creative work, with the theme ‘What does disability mean to you?’

Sharon Brown, our CEO, is also celebrating 40 wonderful years of service as one of the first two employees here at DIAL. From the beginning, she’s helped transform a small charity into a wide community of support for disabled people across Barnsley.
