We'd like to say a huge thank you to Wybone for donating this lovely new, shiny pet food donation point, and also to Tesco Bidston for allowing to collect in store. This is a great help to us on a regular basis. We normally house 120 cats at any one time so we are really thankful to everyone who donates cat food here.

We are a separately registered charity to the National RSPCA so rely on your support to help us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 500 cats each year.

We are always grateful of any cat food pouches and any treats for the cats in our care.

As always thank you for your support, we couldn't do it without you.

Insight into Our Work at Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

From prototype to ward-ready in just 14 days.

When Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust were preparing to open the new neonatal mother and baby unit at Seren Lodge, they required a specialist internal waste solution designed with safety and security as the priority.

The objective was clear:
✔ Prevent access to deposited waste
✔ Reduce the risk of bins being used to cause harm
✔ Maintain a clean, professional aesthetic suitable for a new build healthcare environment

What We Delivered -

Wybone supplied a 42L Security Bin, manufactured in the UK from galvanised steel and finished with a durable powder coating to withstand demanding healthcare settings.

- Chamfered corners to reduce ligature risk
- Robust construction for long-term performance
- Easy-clean finish for infection control compliance

From Discovery to Delivery – 14 Days -

- Initial discovery meeting
- Prototype designed, manufactured and demonstrated within 7 days

- 12 units prioritised in production
- Hand delivered in time for the unit’s launch

This rapid turnaround ensured Seren Lodge opened fully equipped with a safer, fit for purpose waste solution.

Collaboration in Action -

Following an initial consultation with our Managing Director, CWP identified several adjustments to meet their specific requirements. Our team responded immediately, refining the design and presenting the improved solution to their mental health inpatient teams.

The bins were extremely well received by clinical colleagues, reflecting the strength of collaboration and a shared commitment to creating safer healthcare environments.

We’re incredibly proud to see one of our knife amnesty bins playing a real role in making communities safer.

Sheffield South West NPT recently shared that knives have been deposited into one of our bins, meaning these dangerous items are now permanently off the streets. That’s a powerful outcome and exactly why knife amnesty schemes matter.

We’re hugely grateful to the officers involved for securing the knives and continuing the vital work they do to protect the community. Every knife surrendered is a potential incident prevented, and seeing these bins used as intended reinforces their importance.

This is a strong example of how collaboration between local policing teams and practical public safety infrastructure can make a genuine difference. 👏

The documentary follows a group of climbers taking on Kilimanjaro in support of Kidscape, sharing deeply personal stories of bullying, resilience and the long term impact these experiences can have.

We are heading to Birmingham next week for the LARAC Conference and Celebration Awards 2025.

Photos looking like they're straight from an F1 pit crew garage! The sun is shining on our first day back after the bank holiday, and heading out for photography are these new MEGA/CYCLE wheelie bin housings for .

Coming through our loading bay today are these amazing BWB/240 double wheelie bin housings for , a collaboration project with funding.

Wybone have been working with HUBBUB for years, joining forces with councils and local authorities to provide funding for the supply of litter bins.

These wheelie bin housings are dual waste stream to separate black bin waste and recycling. Their large capacity mean less frequent emptying and therefore more efficient and cost saving collections. We've also worked together with the council to finish the bins in a bespoke paint which matches other furniture across the city and surrounding areas.

We're heading to RWM this year and we're bringing all the latest HUBBUB information as well as some samples of products we've worked together on. Make sure you come and see us on stand CT-H280 to hear all things funding and Wybone.

Fridays at Wybone are as productive as ever, and today we're photographing the first of a batch of finished FWB/112 food waste dedicated litter bins.

We originally drafted the concept for this bin over 12 years ago back in 2013, and today we're able to boast our amazing design features dedicated to the safe and hygienic disposal of food waste: Easy lift-up lid aperture with soft close strut, food waste caddy specific size aperture encourages correct use, and an all-enclosing a 112 litre liner which keeps smells in and animals out.

"Clearly the market leaders in food waste" (a title given to us by our competitors at RWM in 2024) we think our lead just got clearer!

These incredible benches are immensely strong, rust proof and corrosion resistant, and their classic Victoriana-era design will fit in beautifully with the London council's aesthetic. We tendered for the opportunity to supply this council, and our winning submission meets just what London Borough of Hillingdon are looking for.
