✨ A little reintroduction… ✨

Hello to all my lovely followers, new and old, thank you so much for being here 💙

For those who don’t know me, I’m a 52-year-old mum of four boys, and I’ve been running my cryotherapy and holistic therapy business for nearly 9 years now (still can’t quite believe that!).

Over the past few years, life has given me a much deeper understanding of the people I support. I’m currently navigating menopause… which, let’s be honest, is a full-time jobin itself 😅

One minute I’m absolutely fine, the next I’m overheating like a radiator that’s been stuck on high 🔥…..and don’t even get me started on walking into a room and having no idea why I’m there. I just stand there like I’ve paused mid-thought and walk back out again with a puzzled look on my face 🤣

Then there’s the mood swings… I can go from calm to crazy in a matter of seconds! But # in all seriousness, it’s also given me a real appreciation for how much our bodies go through, and how important it is to support ourselves properly during these changes.

Alongside that, I was diagnosed as neurodivergent in 2023, and very recently with spinal arthritis, so I truly “get it” when it comes to living with discomfort, fatigue, burnout, and nervous system overwhelm.

That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about what I do.

My aim has always been to provide treatments that are not only effective, but also affordable and accessible. Through cryotherapy and other holistic therapies, I focus on supporting your body as a whole, helping ease aches and pains, calm the nervous system, and help you feel more like you again.

I’m always learning, always upskilling, and always looking for the best ways to support my clients with genuine, client-centred care.

Showing up on social media doesn’t always come naturally to me, and confidence is something I still work on. So if my posts sometimes feel a little repetitive… thank you for bearing with me (and let’s be real, you probably don’t want to see my face every day anyway 🤣).

What matters most to me is creating a space that feels supportive, understanding, and real, just like the care I aim to give in every session.

Thank you for being here, for your support, and for trusting me to be part of your journey 💙❄️

From wired… to wiped out?

If your day runs on coffee, caffeine, and “just one more push”… this might look familiar..

You start off energised…
But by mid-afternoon?
You’re slumped, foggy, achy, and running on empty.

Here’s the problem:
Quick fixes like caffeine don’t actually help your body recover, they just keep you going a little longer while fatigue and tension build underneath.

That’s why you can feel:
• Physically drained but mentally wired
• Tight, achy, and uncomfortable
• Struggling to switch off properly
• Stuck in a cycle of boost → crash → repeat

❄️🔥 Time to break the cycle
Instead of masking it, support your body properly with a Cryotherapy + Infrared Sauna combo:

❄️ Cryotherapy:
• Helps reduce inflammation and muscle soreness
• Boosts circulation and energy
• Leaves you feeling refreshed and recharged

🔥 Infrared Sauna:
• Helps relax tight muscles and joints
• Promotes deep, restorative sweating
• Supports detoxification and overall recovery
• Encourages full-body relaxation

The hot–cold contrast works with your body, not against it:
• Stimulates circulation
• Helps flush out built-up tension
• Supports deeper recovery
• Leaves you feeling both relaxed and re-energised.

❓Ready to swap the crash cycle for real recovery❓

❄️ Arthritis Relief

Living with arthritis can mean dealing with daily stiffness, swelling, and ongoing discomfort — but the right support can make a real difference.

Symptoms include:
• Joint pain and tenderness
• Swelling and inflammation
• Stiffness (especially in the morning)
• Reduced range of motion
• Flare-ups that can impact daily life

❄️ Cryotherapy, both Localised Cryotherapy and Whole Body Cryotherapy can support arthritis management in different ways:

Localised Cryotherapy, perfect for specific joints (like knees, hands, shoulders)
❄️Reduces inflammation directly at the source
❄️Helps numb pain quickly
❄️Can ease swelling during flare-ups
❄️Supports improved joint movement

🌬️ Whole Body Cryotherapy, works systemically across the body
💙Helps reduce overall inflammation levels
💙Supports nervous system regulation
💙Encourages endorphin release (natural pain relief)
💙May help reduce frequency and intensity of flare-ups

Cold exposure helps to calm the inflammatory response, which is a key driver of arthritis pain. By reducing this, many people experience improved comfort and mobility.

While one session can provide relief, regular treatments often bring the best results over time.

Arthritis doesn’t have to control your day-to-day life. With the right tools and support, you can manage symptoms more effectively and keep moving with greater ease.

❄️ Warts & Verrucas: A Simple, Targeted Solution

Warts and verrucas are caused by the **human papillomavirus (HPV)** and often appear on the hands, feet, or other areas of the skin.
Verrucas (found on the soles of the feet) can sometimes feel painful — especially when walking or standing.

Common signs include:
• Rough, raised or thickened skin
• Small black dots (tiny blood vessels)
• Pain or tenderness when pressure is applied (especially verrucas)
• Spreading if left untreated

How does Cryotherapy (pen device) work?
Using a precise, pen-like device, we apply a controlled burst of extreme cold directly to the wart or verruca.

This works by:
• Freezing the affected tissue
• Destroying the virus-infected cells
• Triggering your body’s natural healing response
• Allowing healthy skin to replace the treated area

Why choose targeted cryotherapy? 🎯
• Quick and precise treatment
• Minimal impact on surrounding healthy skin
• Non-invasive and effective
• Suitable for both adults and children

What to expect:
Treatments are fast (just a few seconds per area), and you may need more than 1 session depending on the size and depth. The area may blister or scab slightly as it heals — this is completely normal.

🧨Common everyday causes of pain and injuries include:

⚡️Muscle strains from the gym or lifting something awkwardly
⚡️Ligament sprains (like rolling your ankle)
⚡️Tendon irritation from repetitive movements
⚡️Lower back flare-ups after poor posture or sudden movement
⚡️Neck and shoulder tension from desk work or stress
⚡️Minor sports injuries or impact knocks

These injuries often involve inflammation, swelling, and sensitivity, which is why they can feel intense and limiting.

How can Targeted Cryotherapy help?

Targeted Cryotherapy focuses cold therapy directly onto the affected area, helping to:
❄️Reduce inflammation and swelling quickly
❄️Numb pain by slowing nerve signals
❄️Limit secondary tissue damage
❄️Support faster recovery
❄️Improve mobility as discomfort decreases

By cooling the injured area, you’re essentially helping to interrupt the pain–inflammation cycle early on.

Timing is key
Using cryotherapy soon after an injury can make a noticeable difference in how your body responds and heals.

The takeaway:
Acute injuries are common, but they don’t have to linger.
With the right support at the right time, you can reduce pain, protect the tissue, and get back to moving with confidence.

It’s always a pleasure helping one of my favourite clients fix her pain. Today we used targeted cryotherapy to treat a muscle strain in her lower back and niggling wrist pain. Thanks Clare Horton, for trusting me once again ❄️🩷

Ever wondered why some days your pain feels more intense, even when nothing obvious has changed?

One key factor could be cortisol — your body’s primary stress hormone.

When cortisol levels stay elevated for long periods (thanks to modern, fast-paced living), it can actually increase how sensitive your body is to pain. This means aches, injuries, or chronic conditions may feel worse than they otherwise would.

❓How does this happen?
High cortisol can:
• Heighten inflammation in the body
• Disrupt sleep (which is essential for recovery)
• Keep your nervous system in a constant “fight or flight” state
• Lower your pain threshold, so discomfort feels more intense

🚨Everyday things that can raise cortisol levels include:
• Constant notifications, emails, and screen time
• Work pressure and tight deadlines
• Poor sleep or irregular routines
• Overtraining or not allowing enough recovery
• Skipping meals or relying on caffeine to get through the day
• Emotional stress and mental overload

Sound familiar? You’re not alone!

❄️ So where does Whole Body Cryotherapy come in?

Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) exposes your body to extremely cold temperatures for a short time, which can help:
• Reduce inflammation quickly
• Support nervous system regulation
• Promote endorphin release (your natural “feel good” chemicals)
• Help bring the body out of a prolonged stress response
• Improve recovery and potentially reduce perceived pain levels

Many clients report feeling not just physical relief, but also calmer, more balanced, and better able to cope with daily stressors after sessions.

✨ The takeaway:
Pain isn’t just physical — it’s deeply connected to stress and how your body is functioning as a whole. By addressing cortisol levels and supporting recovery, you can take a more effective, long-term approach to feeling better.

If you’re feeling run down, stressed, or dealing with persistent aches, it might be time to support your body in a different way.

💉 Cortisone Injections vs ❄️ Targeted Cryotherapy – What’s the Difference?

If you’re struggling with pain or inflammation, you’ve probably been offered cortisone injections. But are they really your best option?
Let’s break it down 👇

🔹 Cortisone Injections
Cortisone is a powerful steroid used to reduce inflammation quickly. While it can provide short-term relief, there are some important considerations:

• Long NHS waiting times before you even receive treatment
• Temporary relief – symptoms often return once the effect wears off
• Reduced immunity – steroids can suppress your body’s natural defenses
• Tissue degradation – repeated injections may weaken tendons, cartilage, and surrounding tissue
• Often requires repeat treatments

🔹 Targeted Cryotherapy
A modern, natural approach that uses controlled cold therapy to stimulate healing:

• Fast access – no long waiting lists
• Affordable treatment options
• Pain-free & non-invasive
• Drug-free & natural – supports your body’s own healing process
• Reduces inflammation at the source
• Promotes faster recovery & long-term relief
• Quick sessions with no downtime

✨ The Key Difference?
Cortisone often masks the problem.

Cryotherapy helps your body heal the problem.

If you’re looking for a safer, natural, and effective way to manage pain and inflammation—without the side effects—targeted cryotherapy could be the better choice.
