The perfect time doesn’t exist: The idea of a perfect moment is a myth used to justify fear and inaction. Life is often messy and imperfect, and waiting for everything to be in place is a recipe for never starting.
It leads to missed opportunities: The longer you wait, the more time slips away and opportunities fade.
A form of fear: Waiting can be a way to shield yourself from the fear of failure or the unknown, or to wait for external conditions to be “right” instead of taking control yourself. Failing is part of learning
Take action!
Start now: Take immediate, imperfect action with whatever you have, wherever you are. The first step is often the most important.
Break it down: Break down large goals into smaller, manageable chunks to build momentum.
Make a plan: Identify and solve any potential obstacles to taking the first step.
Be flexible: Embrace the process. Focus on progress, not perfection. Be willing to adapt and adjust as you go rather than demanding ideal conditions.
* Build your skills: Work on building the internal skills and control you need, rather than waiting for the perfect external circumstances.
* Be kind to yourself: Be patient and kind to yourself throughout the process.
