Hello, I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE. I have been in education for over ten years with a track record of supporting pupil progress from varying starting points. All my pupils make considerable progress in knowledge, application and demonstrate improved self study skills.

I have a passion for learning and teaching and I’m enthusiastic about supporting children, young people and mature learners. I accommodate the abilities of individual pupils and cultivate confidence to take risks, self assess and self correct. My method is to make learning interactive and engaging to develop a base upon which further knowledge can be built.

I offer 1:1 or small group tuition in mathematics, English literature and English language and grammar for KS1, KS2, 11+, available week day evenings and weekends.

A big shout out to one of my running clients, Josh. This week, he came in for a Sports Massage, and informed me that he was running the Amsterdam Marathon. He has been training and running well, and his hope was to get way beyond a sub 2:30 Marathon. Well, today, not only did he achieve it, he bloody smashed it 💪 I am so pleased for him because I knew he was capable of doing it. 5 minute pb is crazy, especially to run 2:23. He now joins my other client, Gareth Cooke, with the elite sub 2:25 runners. Well done, Josh! Made my day!
