Reformer Pilates builds strength through controlled resistance, and as an instructor, this is where I see the biggest transformation✨

The springs create constant resistance, so your muscles are working on the way in and on the way out. That control activates deeper stabilizing muscles, supports proper alignment, and builds strength without unnecessary joint stress.

Every class is about moving with intention, not rushing reps - because that’s how real, lasting strength is built.

I’ve had so many questions recently about the difference between mat and reformer, so I wanted to share a little clarity. The truth is, they’re both simply tools designed to support the same intention - helping you build strength, release tension, and move with more ease in your body.

Mat gives you a beautiful foundation through bodyweight work, while the reformer adds support and gentle resistance to help you find even deeper awareness and connection. Both are guided by the same Pilates principles: breathing, concentration, control, centring, precision and flow.
