MINEHEAD CANCER SUPPORT CLUB

Was formed over 25 years ago by 3 survivors of cancer. It was originally Somerset Cancer Care and then part of St Margaret’s hospice, but from 2017 has been an independent self-funded group.
We meet every Monday from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall in Minehead

It is very informal – chat, tea, coffee, cakes, a weekly quiz, an opening Relaxation Meditation. We also have volunteer complementary therapists, who are qualified and insured, and provide free short sessions throughout the 2 hours. Therapies offered are at present Reflexology, Hand Massage, Healing.

If you are receiving treatment for cancer, in remission, or caring for a family member we would be pleased to see you. If you would be interested in giving a short talk to the group, that would also be useful.

A very interesting talk last night from natural herbalist, Liz Lillicrap, Medical Herbalist and Reflexologist all about the healing benefits of plants. Lots learned and taken away by everyone who attended. If you missed it, Liz will be doing another talk on Wednesday 25th Jan, so make sure to book a space.
