✨🎉 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗻! 🎉✨

We’re excited to share that we’ve received funding from the Devon Community Foundation to relaunch our 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 this January… and it’s going to be better than ever.

This is a relaxed, low-cost meet-up for 𝗱𝗮𝗱𝘀, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 with little ones under 5. It’s just £𝟴.𝟱𝟬 per dad and 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲.
You’ll get a hot drink, a bacon sandwich and a chance to hang out with other dads while the little ones explore and play.

And as a January bonus, we’re welcoming mandowncic, the brilliant men’s mental health charity, who’ll be joining us to chat about what they offer and how they support local men. Just a relaxed, friendly visit - nothing heavy.

If you’ve been meaning to get out of the house, meet other dads, or find something fun to do with your little one, this will be ideal!

Pop in and warm up with a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 to take away and pick up a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 for another day.

The shop is open, full of gorgeous toys, cosy coats and brilliant bargains. If you’re wandering past with the kids, come in and have a browse or just enjoy the heat and the festive buzz.

🌼 𝘼 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 🌼

Such a lovely session this evening. Everyone got hands-on with bathing, nappies and those tiny first outfits, and the room had that relaxed mix of laughter, learning and proper teamwork.

⭐ 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙪𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚.
It’s practical, evidence-based and taught by someone who’s been supporting local families for over a decade. Every session gives you real skills you can use, plenty of space to ask questions and a warm group to go through it all with.

It was great seeing so many couples getting stuck in tonight.

Our Baby & Food Bank isn’t only for families in hardship.
We’re all about reducing waste, so everyone is welcome to come in and take what they need. There’s always plenty to share and it’s completely free.

The only thing we ask is that items from the bank aren’t eaten in the play café so we can keep everyone safe with allergies.

Big hot chocolates, proper coffee, and babycinos… or 𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙩 with marshmallows for the little ones while they explore the toys, role play areas and sensory room.

🐰 💕🐰Peter Rabbit misses his family!🐰💕🐰

Someone has left their lovely Peter Rabbit at the play cafe!

Cheeky Peter has had a lovely time playing with the toys, enjoying the sensory room, eating cake and reading some books before enjoying a nap!

He would really like to go home to his family though so please share this so the power of social media can work its magic at reuniting him.

In the meantime, he’s having a sleepover with his new friends! ✨

Singing and making music together is a lovely way to lift your mood, bond with your baby and feel part of a friendly group.

🎵 Our 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘀 sessions are led by 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, with 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰, singalongs, instruments to explore and plenty of smiles. It’s relaxed, welcoming and full of feel-good moments for parents and little ones.
