Just a reminder of the opening hours at Barnstaple Foodbank -
St John's Community Centre, Rose Lane, Barnstaple, EX32 8PG.
Monday - 10.30am until 1.30pm
Wednesday - 10.30am until 1.30pm
Friday - 10.30am until 1.30pm

Vouchers can be issued from Citizens Advice, North Devon Council, housing officers, schools, health visitors, GPs, church's or social services.

If you are in need there is always something they can do to try and help as best they can.

Unfortunately they are unable to accept any clothes donations at this time as they are running low on storage 🫣

The HPV vaccine helps protect against several cancers, including cervical cancer, as well as cancers of the mouth, throat and ge****ls.

It’s offered to boys and girls in school to help protect them later in life.

The vaccine does not protect against all HPV types, so attending cervical screening when invited is still important.

March is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

It’s important to know the signs and symptoms – especially as risk increases with age. Most cases develop in men aged 50 or older and prostate cancer is more common in Black men.

Prostate cancer often develops slowly, so there may be no symptoms for many years.
Early diagnosis and treatment can save lives. Contact your GP if you notice any changes in your body or something doesn’t feel right.
