Bowel Cancer UK know there's a lot in the news about right now, so they want to take a moment to share the symptoms that can help spot the disease early. The earlier it’s found, the more treatable it’s likely to be.

Having these symptoms doesn’t always mean you have bowel cancer but it’s still important to find out what’s causing them. Sometimes these symptoms may come and go or might not feel that serious. It’s still important to talk to your GP.

They're here to support you and the information is just a click away. Visit their website to learn more about bowel cancer and the signs and symptoms to look out for https://bit.ly/475m1DO

Norovirus is a stomach bug that causes diarrhoea and vomiting.

The average number of patients in hospital with norovirus each day last week rose to over 1,000 for the first time this winter.

It can spread very easily, but washing your hands frequently with soap and water is the best way to stop it spreading.

If you catch it, stay at home until two days after the symptoms stop. Don’t visit hospitals or care homes during this time.
