The Root Cause Project CIC next FREE session for veterans and serving personnel is on Saturday, 22nd November.

At The Root Cause Project, they combine elements of bushcraft and survival skills with mental health expertise and military experience.

Just veterans connecting with veterans, outdoors, around a fire, with shared experiences and stories that don’t need explaining.

What happens:
-You show up.
-There’s a fire, food, and bushcraft
-You get hands-on with nature and skills (if you want).
-You connect with others who’ve been there.

It’s not for everyone, but if you’ve served and felt like you’re on your own, it might be for you.

We don't talk enough about grief.

In fact, around a third of bereaved people say that they often hold back because they worry that the topic will upset others. And that stigma can worsen the feelings of isolation and helplessness that often go hand-in-hand with the death of a loved one.

Families in Grief want to change the conversation, opening up compassionate, supportive dialogues around grief. If this sounds like something that could help your family, come along to the Bereavement Cafe, starting on Saturday 22nd November at Castle Chambers Cafe, Barnstaple from 10am - 12.30pm.
