Good morning everyone, we are sending letters and emails to families regarding our carol service. However you don't need a written invitation to come and share the evening with us. It is traditional for us to read the names in tribute of your loved ones that have passed. Please call in to the branch with your loved ones name so we can add them to the list. When your loved ones name is called you also have the opportunity to light a candle🕯.
There will be refreshments available. Please come and join us at, St Mary's RC Church , Higher church street Barnstaple. This is a non denomination service. Everyone is welcome.

We reflect on the sacrifice of the fallen, the bravery of the living, and the profound debt we carry to each generation of service.

Let us wear our poppies, bow our heads, and hold close the memory of those who gave so much. Lest we forget.

A very sad day for us A G Simmonds & Sons and William Pearce & Son Funeral Directors as we say goodbye to our old hearse. This seems some what a sentimental loss for us. HURSULAR as she was affectionately known has served us well for many years and thousands of miles. May you Rust in pieces. 🫶

It is with sadness and a heavy heart to inform you of the passing of Beryl May Woodage, Beryl passed away peacefully with her family around her at North Devon District Hospital on Thursday 14th August. She was a loving mum, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. There will be a service of celebration of her life at the Holy Trinity Church Ilfracombe on Thursday 16th October at 11am followed by a family service at the Marlborough Cemetery where her ashes will be interred with her husband. Instead of flowers it has been requested that donations are given to either Cancer Research UK or British Heart Foundation
