Our Christmas Memorial Page has just opened for this year.

There is also a voluntary collection for the work of Families in Grief, who do amazing work supporting bereaved children, young people and families, here in North Devon.

DIRECT CREMATION has become increasingly popular, largely due to the multi-million pound advertising campaign we're seeing all over our TV screens from a particular company, but also down to it's affordability and fuss-free nature.

Many people don't realise that your local independent family-run funeral directors, can and do offer a direct cremation service. Often significantly cheaper than the larger companies advertising on our TV's, online, or leaflet dropping your home.

On a recent trip to see the progress of the Rotary Gardens Pond project in Pilton, it was fantastic to see all the hard work of volunteers from the Pilton & Bradiford Community Gardens group, has given the pond area of new lease of life. Wildlife in thrieving, biodiversity on the up, and the flowers offering some colour to the area. Well done to all who have worked so hard to make all this growth and development happen.

It has been really great to see the rejuvenation of the Rotary Gardens pond area. We are pleased to be supporting this project with the Pilton & Bradiford Community Gardens team, giving back to create a wonderful space in the community, for the community.

This is an ongoing project, the next working party is on Sunday 9th March.
