I originally went to see Rika due to having severe issues with fatigue and nausea. I was feeling the effects of long covid, which had dogged me for two years. As a two time ironman triathlete I had been very fit, but was really struggling. I had also put on weight through a poor diet and really felt I was lacking direction and needed advice. Rika took the time to get to know me and understand the issues that I was having. After the consultation Rika recommended some dietary changes and to start to take some supplements. Nutritional therapy is awesome!! I received the testimonial below today from a grateful client - it's the best feeling in the world to be a positive force in someone's life.

For years I have been the carb and sugar queen following a childhood medical trauma which left me unable to eat and enjoy fruit and vegetables. Unsurprisingly, I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in my fifties.

I am currently doing an online course on how nutritional therapy can support patients during and after cancer treatment and guess what? My beloved topic, the microbiome came up 😊 This diagram illustrates exactly how an imbalanced microbial colony (dysbiosis) can set events in motion that could end up as cancer. Keep your microbiome healthy – it’s called eubiosis - by eating lots of colourful plants and good quality fats and proteins…and avoid those ever-present processed foods as much as possible. This will go a very long way to reduce your cancer risk. 🥦🥑🥕

Very proud of my son Johann Kamper who created this dish - red peppers, carrots, ginger and cumin. What a FANTASTIC combination of anti-oxidants and colours! Red peppers and carrots are sources of beta carotene, which can boost immune function in addition to having antioxidant properties. Ginger and cumin are anti-inflammatory, are super anti-oxidants and can help with blood glucose control - what's not to like! An easy addition to any meal and... it makes your taste buds zing 🙂🥕
