"Really informative, and a good refresher - well presented course." 👏

Yesterday we delivered Fire Warden training to the team from Poole Townsend

As you can see, our courses are anything but dull! We think it's so important to give our delegates hands-on experience of using the different extinguishers so they're confident to act if an emergency does happen.

Thank you for choosing Ardent Safety 💚✅ https://ardentsafety.co.uk/category/fire-safety/

doesn’t have to be complicated.

A quick reminder: if a substance can harm people, it needs proper control. It's that simple.

From cleaning products to workshop materials, knowing what you’re using (and how it could affect your health) is the first step. Clear labelling, safe storage, and the right PPE can prevent long‑term issues before they ever begin.

March is 'National Save Your Vision Month' - the perfect time to check in on yours and your team's Display Screen Equipment setup.

A well‑adjusted workstation means reduced fatigue, headaches, and eye strain so your team can work comfortably and safely.

A couple of tweaks to screen height, lighting, and break habits can make a huge difference. Your eyes will thank you! 👀

HSE First Aid update 📣

The HSE has removed the informal First Aid recertification grace period - once your certificate expires, you’re no longer qualified, even if you’ve booked a renewal. They're also strongly recommending annual refresher training to keep skills sharp between the 3‑year renewal cycle.

A good moment to check expiry dates and keep your workplace covered. Get in touch today for more info and to book: https://ardentsafety.co.uk/category/first-aid/

Our fabulous trainer Sarah delivered an Emergency First Aid at Work course at Clare House Hotel yesterday.

Sarah has worked with the team before and told us she always feels like family when she’s there. That means a lot to us, because strong relationships and genuine care sit at the core of what we do 💚

We had another great group in for Fire Warden training this week and just had to share these fantastic bits of feedback we received at the end!

Our favourite?
Q: What did you enjoy most about the course?
A: Using the fire extinguishers because I've always wanted to set them off!

We believe that giving people hands-on training is the BEST way to make sure they're prepared and confident to know exactly what to do when an emergency happens.

We carry our phones everywhere - to stay connected, organised and safe. But could you actually be carrying something really risky without realising it? ⚠

Lithium batteries are in almost every device we use daily. But when they’re damaged, overcharged or exposed to heat they can become dangerous.

A little awareness goes a long way:

🔥Avoid using cheap or unbranded chargers
🔥Don’t keep phones in hot cars or under pillows
🔥Replace swollen or damaged batteries
🔥Keep devices away from sharp objects in bags or pockets
