A huge thank you to Kath for bringing in these beautiful flowers for our Jan — a lovely gesture to recognise the incredible hard work she puts in every single day to keep the many plates of Lakeland Care spinning. 💐💙

Jan is the heartbeat of our reception, manning the busy phones like an absolute trooper. Always armed with a smile, endless patience, and a genuine passion for putting our clients first, she brings calm to the chaos and kindness to every call.

Our office can receive up to 100 phone calls a day — from new care packages and client emergencies to last-minute sickness cover and everything else that comes with supporting hundreds of clients and carers. Jan handles it all with professionalism, warmth, and a reassuring steadiness that makes an enormous difference.

On top of all that, Jan also leads our recruitment process for new team members and oversees our training, ensuring every member of staff is fully up-to-date, confident, and compliant.

Quite simply, Jan is the oil that keeps our whole system running smoothly — and believe us when we say it takes someone truly special to juggle it all with such grace and good humour.

🕐 Shift pattern:
7PM – 7AM
3 nights one week, 4 nights the next
Alternate weekends off rotation

💷 Pay:
From £12.70 per hour
