Our team wore green today to raise money for Kidney Cancer UK to support those with this illness and enable further research.
Dr. Harrison of Duke Street Surgery was very keen on fundraising and supporting this cause and we came together as a Health Centre today to raise funds in his memory 💚

With the festive period coming up we ask all patients to please order their medications by the 15th of December in order to receive them in time for Christmas.
The surgery will be closed the 25th & 26th of December and the 1st of January.

Vaccines are available at the surgery or at your local pharmacy.

This service has now moved to Barrow Health Hub on The Strand (the old St John's ambulance building)

Please find below details of a new urgent care service



We are introducing an urgent care service to help increase capacity within the surgery to see patients. This currently operates Tuesday- Friday during normal surgery hours. The appointments will be available face to face with a GP and are booked the same way as regular appointments via our surgery reception team.

Currently the location the service operates from is Norwood Medical Centre – 99 abbey Road, Barrow-in-Furness LA14 1LF

Once you have been given an appointment attend Norwood Medical Centre and check in at their front desk as you enter the building.

The GP will have access to your normal GP notes and consultations will be documented in your normal GP Record.
