2025… that’s a wrap 🤍

The year I grafted harder than ever to continue building my business while being a mum of 3 🥹

Having premature twins took its toll physically and emotionally, and honestly there were days I genuinely wondered how I’d get through… but every single day I showed up, not just because I wanted to, but because I had to!

We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve celebrated 🩷

This year wasn’t just about growth in the clinic, it was about the people who kept me afloat 🫶🏻

I am endlessly grateful for Shona. She has been my rock in ways I can’t even put into words. Not just an incredible nurse, but now one of my closest friends. Her compassion, kindness and calm presence have carried me through some of my hardest days, both personally and within the clinic. I genuinely couldn’t have done this year without her, and I will be forever grateful for her. A valued part of my business, my journey, and my life 🤍

I’m also so proud of the girls in our clinic, the support, teamwork, laughter and dedication behind the scenes every single day does not go unnoticed. This clinic would not be what it is without you all, and I’m always forever grateful for you all ❤️

And of course, the biggest thank you to my gorgeous family, my fiancée for being there through every high, every low, the meltdowns, the celebrations and everything in between, thank you. Without you & your constant push, support and encouragement I’d have never got through the year 🥹🫶🏻

One of the most common acne cycles explained 🧬

Acne is driven by imbalance, not simply oil.
When the skin barrier is compromised, dehydration can trigger increased sebum production, perpetuating breakouts ❌

In response to acne, many people use harsh cleansers, over exfoliate or avoid moisturiser altogether. This further weakens the skin barrier, causing the skin to compensate by producing more oil, leading to increased congestion and inflammation!

This is why acne prone skin still requires the correct moisturiser alongside targeted treatments. Oily skin is not the same as hydrated skin 🙅🏻‍♀️
