Nothing beats consistency!! 👆
A new year is an incredible opportunity to re-assess, set goals, reflect and decide who/what we want to be in the coming year!

But trust us … the only goal you need to set is one of consistency … as no matter if your preferred outcome is performance based, aesthetics based, weight based … the only way to get there is to be CONSISTENT!

So… set the goals, give yourself time frames, make sure you have weekly aims as well as longer term one (as the big goals often feel unachievable when facing them), surround yourself with a positive tribe… and get out of your own way!

Often we are our own worst enemy and will put barriers and excuses in place that simply don’t need to be there .. so get out of your own way and prioritise yourself 🫶🏻

Good things come to those who work their backsides off! 🙌🏻

⭐️ Empower Camp is returning with a brand new cycle of bootcamp Mondays and Thursdays.

⭐️ Our ever popular morning classes are remaining.

⭐️ Clients are all confirmed for their January PT slots.

Let’s get all of them done to keep our training motivation up through these cold and dark days 💪

Day 12 - complete 12 workouts by 19th December.
We are giving you one more week to tick off 12 workouts by the 3rd week of the month!

Some of you may have already done this (you crazy bunch) and some of you will need longer … so you have the next 7 days to try and rack up 12 workouts in total in December.

And if you complete all 12 days ???? You might just be in with a chance of winning a prize … soooo you need to make sure to tick ✅ on every one of our 12 days of Christmas posts so that we know you have done each one!

Today’s is short and simple … at some point today, hit the deck and get 11 press ups done!
You might be on your toes, you might be on your knees, you might add claps or do it in your pjs.

Day 10- 10 minutes of exercise.
Be accountable today to moving your body for at least 10 minutes.

It might be a fitness class, a walk, dancing, vigorous cleaning … technically exercise is anything that raises your heart rate or effort level.
Find 10 minutes in the day today and get it done 💪

There are lots of ways to squat - so let’s explore some today!

1) Bodyweight squat
2) Weighted squat
3) Squat jump
4) Sumo wide leg squat
5) Narrow squat
6) Goblet squat
7) Squat pulses low
8)Side to side squats
9) Squat hold

Let’s get all of them done to keep our training motivation up through these cold and dark days 💪

Day 8- 8 yoga poses.
Let’s start the week off with some stretch and restore- pick 8 yoga poses and hold each one for 30 seconds.
Maybe a little bit of down dog, child’s pose, mountain pose, forward fold, half lift, tree pose, warrior 1 and warrior 2… have a little research and pick your sequence.

P.S - I’ll be adding these into the end of classes today for anyone attending 🫶🏻 and if you attend our Wednesday yoga session this week you can absolutely use the class to complete this challenge too! 💫

Day 7- A 7 minute ab workout 💪
Today’s challenge is simple but cheeky 7 minute workout. If you have your favourite ab exercises simply do them circuit style for 7 minutes. If you need inspiration do the below x 5 sets👇
30 seconds plank on forearms
30 seconds bicycle crunch
30 seconds slow mountain climbers

P.S- if you are booked onto our 9:30am class today- we will get this challenge smashed!
