Happy Monday! And a big drumroll needed this week, for it’s the turn of the longest serving Arbuthnots staff member - Jan.
Jan celebrates an amazing 52 years with Arbuthnots this year! - she is the only member of staff who was here even before Mr Ted Arbuthnot himself.
You might see Jan downstairs on reception in our Barry practice, but she also does a huge amount of the ‘behind the scenes’ work upstairs. Jan also loves to embrace her creative side, and has produced many of the eye catching window displays over the years.
Throughout her time in Broad Street Jan has of course seen lots of staff and patients pass through the doors - and she loves an excuse to organise a celebration. Nobody is allowed a low key birthday celebration when Jan is around!
Outside of work, Jan is kept busy with her children, grandchildren and a menagerie of animals! Her creative side is kept busy at home too - I’m not sure even Jan can keep track of how many fancy dress outfits for family members she has created over the years!
