About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to join our thriving homecare team, providing high-quality care and support to individuals within their own homes. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a positive culture that promotes independence and dignity for our clients.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the homecare service, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other legislative requirements.
• Recruit, train, and supervise care staff, providing guidance and support for ongoing professional development.
• Develop robust care plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate records and manage audits to continually improve service quality.
• Work closely with clients, families, and external agencies to promote holistic wellbeing.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Drive business growth, manage budgets, and achieve organisational targets.
Person Specification
• Qualified and registered with the relevant regulatory body (e.g. NMC, CQC).
• Demonstrable experience managing domiciliary or homecare services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passion for providing person-centred care and empowering others.
• Ability to motivate a team and manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of current care sector legislation and best practices.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
