📍 Location: Cameron House, Plumleys, Pitsea
🕒 Hours: 18 hours per week, Days and times can be arranged with the successful candidate.

Are you a creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys bringing joy and engagement to others? We are looking for a dedicated bank Activities Co-ordinator to join our warm and friendly care home team.

🧡 About the Role:
As our bank Activities Co-ordinator, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents through planning and delivering a varied programme of meaningful activities. You'll promote independence, inclusion, and fun—ensuring everyone feels valued and engaged.

🎨 Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver a range of activities tailored to residents' interests, needs, and abilities

Encourage resident participation and gather feedback to improve future events

Coordinate group and one-on-one activities (e.g., arts and crafts, music sessions, reminiscence, games, outings)

Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

Liaise with community organisations to enhance activity opportunities

💼 What We’re Looking For:
A warm, outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in activity planning or working with older adults (care home experience is a plus)

Creativity, motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good organisational skills and flexibility

Basic IT skills for record-keeping and scheduling
