The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our residents while supporting and guiding care staff on shift.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead by example, promote dignity and independence, and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality personal care in line with individual care plans 📚💓

Administer medication in accordance with policies and training 💊💉

Support and supervise Care Assistants during shifts 🤝🏻👬

Maintain accurate care records and documentation 📖📝

Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, and families 🩺🚑

Promote residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing 🧘‍♀️

Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety procedures 🧯📛

Assist with training and mentoring new staff

Requirements
Previous experience as a Care Assistant (senior experience desirable)

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)

Medication administration training

Strong leadership and communication skills

Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach

Good written and verbal English

🌺Our lovely home manager Heidi and care assistant Lewis are taking part in raising money for Alzheimer's society 🌺

✨️Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.✨️

💙 As I'm sure you can understand, This is a charity very close to our hearts, Working with dementia everyday is heartbreaking and by doing our bit for charity we hope that this can give some relief to family members who loved ones are affected 💙

Yesterday was "National Pizza day" 🍕😋 some of the ladies got to work and helped Jane make some pizza's for tea for everyone to enjoy 💓 They were very tasty 😋 Thank you ladies!

🎲🎯I thought Sundays were a day of rest?! Not at Cameron House!! We have had lots of fun, Playing games, Reminiscing and having a good laugh!! 🤣 Coming together and socialising as a group provides emotional relief, reduces anxiety, and lift moods 😁🎳

Our amazing lady Dorothy turned 103yrs old today. How fabulous does she look. We celebrated with a party and she spent time with her family. We love you Dorothy

We have Dawn back! Now our team is complete again 🥳 To welcome Dawn back, We all had a sing song with the new karaoke 🎤 machine! And then the deputy manager and the team leader serenaded the residents.....Sorry girls!! 🤣🤣
