What an absolutely amazing Valentine’s Day we’ve had at Mundy House!
The day has been filled from start to finish with love, laughter, and togetherness. We enjoyed fun games, plenty of smiles, delicious sweets, and beautiful homemade treats. We had so many special moments shared throughout the day. The atmosphere was full of warmth and joy, and it was wonderful to see everyone coming together to celebrate.
A huge and heartfelt thank you to Katharina Good, one of our senior carers, and Louise our activities coordinator for arranging such a truly memorable day. Your hard work, creativity, and dedication made it extra special for everyone. We are also so grateful to our incredible team who always pull together to create such meaningful experiences for our residents. Your kindness and teamwork never go unnoticed.
Days like today remind us how special our Mundy House family truly is 💕 ❤️ 🌹

There’s something truly soothing about sitting down with a jigsaw puzzle. Spreading out the pieces, turning them over, and slowly finding where each one belongs creates a quiet sense of focus and calm. It’s a gentle, mindful activity. The simple satisfaction of colours connecting and edges fitting perfectly together. A jigsaw puzzle isn’t just about completing an image; it’s about enjoying the peaceful process and the small, rewarding moments along the way 😊

We've had a wonderful afternoon playing darts, filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of encouragement. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of smiles as everyone got involved. Proving once again that it’s never too late to perfect your aim. A great way to spend a Sunday… and thankfully, no staff members were harmed in the process! 😄🎯
A big thank you to Aimee for getting us the dartboard and helping make the afternoon possible. It was definitely well used and very much appreciated

We had a lovely afternoon playing bingo with Louise, filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of friendly competition. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged, cheering each other on and sharing smiles throughout the game. What a perfect way to start the weekend. Relaxed, fun, and full of good company.

Today we said a very fond farewell to Beryl as she returned home after a wonderful couple of weeks’ respite stay with us. It was an absolute pleasure having her as part of the Mundy House family.
During her stay, Beryl built some lovely friendships with both residents and staff, filling our home with warmth, laughter, and great company.
One of our team members, Bolanle, kindly prepared some of Beryl’s favourite native dishes for her to take home. Such a thoughtful touch! Beryl even joked about whether Bola does delivery 😊
We are truly grateful that Beryl chose Mundy House Care Home for her short-term stay. We wish her continued happiness, good health, and many joyful moments as she keeps living life to the fullest 💗

Thomas brought warmth, energy, and pure joy into our lounge today as he immersed himself in what he loves most, music.
With every song, he sang with heart, passion, and confidence, completely in his element. Music gives Thomas a voice to express himself, lifting his spirit and filling the room with positivity. Watching him sing along to some of his favourite songs was a powerful reminder of how music can spark happiness, build connection, and let someone truly shine. Moments like these show just how deeply music lives in Thomas’s heart and how beautifully it lights him up ✨🎤
