After a full and joyful Christmas, Boxing Day began in the most peaceful way. A beautiful massage by the lovely Louise set the tone for a calm, restorative morning, allowing us to truly switch off and enjoy the stillness. Time slowed, the atmosphere was soothing, and the focus was simply on rest, comfort, and being present. Christmas at Mundy House has been truly special. We’ve been so grateful to spend time with the people who mean the most to us. Sharing laughter, going out with family, opening thoughtful gifts, and coming together to enjoy a delicious Christmas Day lunch that was loved by everyone.
We want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to our amazing chef, Amanda, our wonderful kitchen team, Jeanette and Nisla and all staff who worked today for the care, effort, and love they put into creating such a beautiful meal. It made the day even more meaningful.
Moments like these remind us how lucky we are for each other, for the warmth of togetherness, and for the simple joys that make life so special. We hope Christmas has been just as joyful and full of love for everyone.

we celebrate our Ancillary Staff Award 2025, Care Staff Award 2025, and Staff of the Year 2025.

These awards were chosen through staff polling votes, making them even more meaningful. Every vote came from colleagues who see the hard work, kindness, and dedication shown every day. For each award, we recognised a Winner and Highly Commended staff members and truly, every person nominated is deserving of recognition.

Staff of the Year represents someone who goes above and beyond every day, supports colleagues, puts residents first, and leads by example through kindness, commitment, and hard work. Being chosen by fellow staff reflects the trust, respect, and appreciation of the team.

Our ancillary team, care staff, and all those recognised today represent what makes Mundy House special compassion, teamwork, reliability, and a genuine commitment to our residents and to each other. Choosing was not easy, because everyone is doing an amazing job.

Mr. Tommy, Santa’s littlest helper, paid a very special visit this morning and truly brightened the day for our residents. With his infectious smile, festive cheer, and the sweetest Christmas spirit, he went from room to room spreading joy, laughter, and plenty of heart-warming moments. we are proud to celebrate so many special moments all in one place our Community Partnership Award, Long Service Awards, Special Recognition Awards, and most importantly, the joy of celebrating our residents.

These awards are not just certificates or photos. We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful families, our Home Manager Josi George, and our company directors, Indra Rajeevan and Indra Kanagasabai for your incredible generosity and kindness. Our residents’ Christmas party was a truly heartwarming occasion, filled with love, festive cheer, and so many smiles. Laughter and joy filled the room as everyone came together to celebrate and create special memories.
It was especially wonderful to see staff getting involved and celebrating alongside our residents. Their involvement makes such a difference, bringing extra warmth, connection, and happiness, it was lovely to see.
A huge thank you to Lynda and Aimee for organising such a lovely celebration, and to Amanda, one of our chefs, for the delicious festive cheesecakes that everyone enjoyed 🎄🎅❤️

We had an incredible turnout at our Christmas Bazaar today! It was truly heartwarming to see residents, families, coworkers, and friends all coming together to celebrate. The day was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of Christmas spirit helped along by some delicious mulled wine.
We are so grateful to everyone who supported, attended, and helped bring this wonderful event to life. A huge heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff and families and a very special shout-out to our deputy manager, Natasha, whose passion, creativity, and dedication made this event such a sparkling success.
