Chestnut Counselling Providing psychotherapeutic counselling, online and in the Basingstoke, Alton & Alresford, Hants area Hello I’m Sophia and welcome to Chestnut Counselling.

I provide a professional counselling therapy service based between Basingstoke, Alton and Alresford in Hampshire for both adults and young people (aged 14 plus). I have experience supporting clients with a range of issues including;
Bereavement and Loss
Stress and anxiety
Self esteem and self worth
Communication and relationship issues. I have specialist training and considerable experience working in the area of grief and loss. I am a professionally trained and qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I am also qualified in hypnotherapy which I can offer as an additional tool where it may be of benefit when working with particular issues. Alongside my counselling practice I also work in further education as a tutor/assessor for accredited courses in mental health awareness and counselling skills.
