We have a winner - Although there is no prize 😂!

Catching up with Sally back at Naidex, and she showed us the odometer on her Balders display… It was reading 4307km!!! This has to be a record, especially considering we only delivered her chair just over 3 years ago. To put that into perspective, it’s nearly the same as driving from our Basingstoke HQ to Naples in Italy and back again. 😲🇮🇹

If you don’t already follow Sally, she’s a BC3 Boccia player and travels all around the world to compete, including at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris. 🤩

Another happy customer enjoying their new Balder in the sunshine! 😎☀️

One of our jobs from last week was to deliver a new wheelchair to Amie, who lives on the Isle of Wight. She upgraded to one of our Balder Advanced models, which features some great kit and had some bespoke options included too. 🦼

Next week is shaping up to be another good one for us at Baldertech - Andy is heading up north for an assessment and demo, while Harry will be in London carrying out annual service work. 🦼🗺️

Back at HQ, our workshop is in full swing too, supporting two customers with rebuilds of their older Balder powerchairs, to keep them going strong, and to give them the option of having a reliable spare if they need it. ☺️🔧

We hope you’re all enjoying some well-earned downtime this weekend and enjoying the weather! 😀☀️

Last week, we welcomed a new customer to Baldertech when we delivered a Balder Finesse 380 to Sue. 😀📦

She was drawn to us thanks to the unique capabilities of our powerchairs, such as our market-leading low floor to seat height which can be electronically adjusted from 35-79cm, and our bespoke approach, ensuring we built a chair perfect for her. 🦼

Delivery day today for the sparkly gloss black Balder 😀… Its destination? The Isle of Wight! ⛴️📦

Andy’s got his van packed up, ready to catch the ferry… This one’s a Finesse 380 Advanced, with added side supports, extendable transfer bars, custom-made foot plates and a pressure-relieving cushion. 🦼

This will be their 3rd Balder over the last 15 years, and we’re always delighted to have people returning to us ☺️.

It was great to meet the team from Sociability at Naidex recently! 😀

They tried out our Balder F390 standing powerchair, and it was great to tell them more about the work we do and our range of handmade, bespoke electric wheelchairs. ☺️🦼
