The importance of connecting to our body when the mental load has been high 🙏

Getting out for a quick walk in between client sessions after lots of time at my desk this week 🚶‍♀️

Looking forward to a weekend full of movement practices and body connection to release the mental load of the week 😍

1st up a beautiful morning of yoga and breathwork with tomorrow morning 🧘‍♀️✨️

Followed by a morning of Qigong and dancing with on Sunday. There's still tickets 🎟 available for our qigong and dance 💃 at St Mark's Community Centre from 9.30am to 12.30pm so why not come join us?

It's no surprise how much this card has shown up this week...connected to the magic of Friday 13th and Mother's Day 💗

The Divine Mother exists in everyone of us (men too) and the activation comes from connecting to love, compassion and wisdom in our hearts and feel it expanding out from within so we can share it with the world.

So as well as celebrating all the amazing Mums out there, take a moment today to place a hand on your heart, close your eyes, breath into your heart centre and connect to something you're grateful for which naturally activates the emotions of the divine mother. And then using the breath, sense it expanding out from your heart centre so it radiates out into the world.

Doing the same when you're giving someone a hug is also magical.

Imagine what the world would be like if we all did this every day 😍

A few unexpected things have come up this week and I can feel myself starting to become disconnected and disreegulated and needing to take some time to connect and reset myself ❤️

Day 24 of Tuning into your Soul's advent calendar and the last day! And it's time to take a moment to g8ve thanks. Gratitude is gift both for those receiving it and those giving it 🙏🎁💖

The key is to give thanks with intention rather than say it out of obligation or habit.

Here are ways to be more intentionally when saying thank you...

✨️ Make eye contact
✨️ Place a hand on your heart (if that feels right)
✨️ Say what it is that you are thankful for
✨️ Smile 😍

It's also great to look for more opportunities to give thanks such as when you are getting on and off a bus or at a pedestrian crossing 🚸

If you putting a hand up to say thank you, try saying thabk you out load and smile at the same time 🤗

And why not start a daily gratitude practice. Spend a few minutes at the start and/or end of your day to make a note of 3 things you feel grateful for 🙏🤩✨️

Day 23 of Tuning into your Soul's advent calendar and it's time to take a moment to habit stack 🤩

During this busy festive period it can feel impossible to take a moment for yourself. So I invite you to pause and add a minute or 2 of self care when you are doing one or 2 of these daily tasks....

✨️ Getting up or going to bed 🛌
✨️ Cleaning your teeth or taking a shower 🪥🚿
✨️ Doing your make-up or brushing your hair💄👩‍🦱
✨️ Going to the toilet🚽
✨️ In the car before you set off or as you arrive. 🚗

There's also when you've popped the kettle on to make a cuppa ☕️

The key is having the intention to pause and bring the awareness to yourself, whether that's to breath with intention, to shake it off or do some tapping. What ever resonates for you in the moment 🙏✨️
