How do you describe what you do in one word when there are so many aspects, skills, experiences that you have embodied and developed over many years?
What captures your essence, something that will help people understand you do and want to come & work with you?
These are two questions that I have been pondering for some time. AND although I knew deep down what the answer is I have been hesitant to share it for fear of criticism and being misunderstood.
Many people know me for being a Physiotherapist, CranioSacral Therapist, Mindful Movement, Qi Gong and Reiki practitioner and Yes these are my qualifications, the modalities I am trained in.
The work I love.
But, What do I really do? What integrates all of this?
BEING A HEALER.
My love of HEALING is the essence of my work and who I am.
Not to lay hands on and ‘FIX’ people…. That’s not me and never has been.
But to Hold Space, Listen (not only with ears but with my hands and my whole being), and Integrate the healing power of Energy, Movement and Touch.
I believe the body is the most sacred thing we have, it is a vessel that holds our soul, our inner wisdom and it knows how to heal. We just need to listen and learn.
Every day, being a healer, fills me with joy and gratitude. Knowing that people are willing to bring down their guard, acknowledge their pain/discomfort/stresses, ask for help and trust in the process is extremely humbling.
Healing is about understanding, empowerment, evolution and growth and to work with people in this way is what I LOVE 🥰
