This morning we had a visit from the very talented Phillip who played a wonderful array of Christmas classics on his viola. It was fantastic to see our Rosenount academy packed to the rafters with residents and their loved ones all singing along.

We have been having fun with our annual Christmas tree decorating contest here at Midford Manor. I’m sure you’ll agree they all look amazing… can you click on your favourite to vote which one you would choose as the winner. We will share the winners tomorrow.

Pantomime prep is well under way here at Midford Manor…. Oh no it isn’t….. oh yes it is!! Residents and team have been busy painting the back drops for our Christmas show and we are super excited already.

It was a pleasure to host some of the community professionals this week for a Christmas celebration. A wonderful way to say thank you for the support shown every day to us here at Midford Manor. A huge thank you to Sam and Rio for their hard work.

We couldn’t miss an opportunity to celebrate National cake day here at Midford Manor. Our coffee shop is always full of lovely sweet treats but we took this opportunity today to bake and sample even more cake! How amazing are all of these cakes.

Residents and their loved ones had a wonderful morning being entertained by the fabulous Henry Sampson who is a jazz musician. The Rosemount Cafe was packed to the rafters with lots of people singing alone to some classic songs.

You can’t beat a lovely trip out on our Midford Manor minibus. We wrapped up warm and visited Lowden Garden Centre for a look at some new plants and some beautiful Christmas decorations. We finished off with a lovely cup of tea and some cake in their coffee shop.

We had a visit from Zoolab yesterday who brought a wonderful array of critters with them. As you can see they brought such immense joy to a packed house of residents and team. The snakes and giant land snails were very popular and certainly led to lots of smiles all round. I do hope none were left behind and are sleeping in my office!!
