Thank you to all our staff and volunteers who supported today’s COVID vaccination clinic 💉
We vaccinated over 400 patients, and the clinic ran smoothly thanks to everyone’s efforts 👏 We’re also grateful to our patients for attending as planned, and it was helpful that the weather stayed kind while people were arriving! ☀️

Thank you to everyone who shared feedback with us in March. We really value your comments and use them to improve our service.

What we’re doing well:

⭐ Kind, caring staff – Many of you highlighted how friendly, compassionate and reassuring our team are.
⭐ Being listened to – Patients told us they feel heard, taken seriously, and involved in decisions about their care.
⭐ Efficient service – Positive feedback about prompt responses, smooth appointments, and professional care.

Where we can improve:

🔧 Waiting times & punctuality – We understand that delays can be frustrating. In general, we aim to run on time, however clinical appointments can be unpredictable, particularly when patients require urgent care or more time than planned. This can occasionally impact later appointments.

If you have been waiting more than 15 minutes past your appointment time, please let reception know so we can check for you.

Thank you again for your feedback and for supporting the practice.

Today is National Doctors' Day and an opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of our team of GPs,l.

The work of a GP requires not only extensive knowledge and skill, but also deep compassion and patience as they support patients, and their families, through illness, recovery, and sometimes difficult diagnoses.

Beyond treating illnesses our GPs provide reassurance, guidance and hope during some of the most difficult moments in people’s lives. The work they do behind the scenes, as shown in the picture, is often not seen but is vital to patients even though they may be unaware of it.

Their commitment and resilience highlight not only how hard they work, but also how essential they are to the wellbeing of our local community.

We are very proud of all our lovely GPs and celebrate them today!

⏰ Don’t forget — the clocks go forward one hour on Sunday 29 March!

That means lighter evenings are on the way 🌞 — perfect for walks, runs or outdoor time with family and friends.

A quick reminder on the health benefits of daylight and movement:
• More daylight → more opportunity for activity
• Light exposure can help improve mood
• Outdoor time supports better sleep
