I’m offering free 20-minute consults to support people dealing with back pain.
Maybe you've been wondering if what you are doing already is helping or not, and whether there's anything else you could be doing..

These are short sessions tailored to your specific issue - we can review your situation together and I’ll share practical tips and advice. Ask me anything!

I have made available limited spots on August 14th only. You can book via Calendly (link in bio) to secure your slot.

Your input will also help shape a group course I’m finalising - so you’re also helping me create something really useful that will benefit others.

I love receiving emails like this!
💫This person had had knee pain for a couple of months, and due to the pain and mild swelling was struggling to engage the whole leg when walking, and was now in a vicious cycle having had to reduce normal activities and previously long walks.
💫I assessed the knee to identify which structures were likely to be involved (most minor injuries don't require scans in the first instance).
💫We then identified compensation patterns and worked through muscles activations including both legs, and this how they described feeling after.
💪Does this sound too easy?? Activations (pressure points) do often work fast and they help re-engage and rebalance - you do still need to work on strength and stability to integrate the new information and support your knee in its natural healing process ❤️

🙏So pleased to have met brilliant yoga teacher Leslie Kaminoff at his London workshop "Bones Muscles and Structural diversity" this weekend.
💫He challenges loads of yoga "facts" and cues habitually used. 
I feel inspired to keep questioning how I practice yoga  /  choose or adapt an exercise + to focus on how I can empower people to feel and work with their own unique body rather than aim for or comform to an idealised standard.

👋I haven't been around social media for a while so I just wanted to say I'm still here and working .uk near Bath College ! 🙂

⭐ My usual working hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8.30 am - 2.30 pm. I'm often around on Thursdays too just ask me about different days/ times.

I had group of lovely people for my second workshop on overcoming back pain yesterday, as part of the festival.

🧐 We looked at persistent myths around core stability and posture. Discussed how tissue damage doesn't equal pain, healing and resilience, and the mind- body connection.

💪 We focused on exercises for breathing and zone 1 activation (diaphragm, psoas and glutes).
No miracle cures but ways to think about pain differently and tools which really help change and shift old patterns!

🌈This is the beautiful space where I teach my Activated Yoga classes.
Activated Yoga is gentle movement with breath and muscle activation (self massage points) and definitely worth a try if you want to learn how to engage your muscles to increase strength, flexibility and balance.

I’ve got some one-off classes coming up - perfect if you don’t want the commitment of signing up for a course.
They’re here at Hedley Hall in Oldfield Park, 17 Denmark Road, BA2 3RE.

The next one is tomorrow - Thursday 16th February at 12-1 pm and costs £10. It might be just what you need during a busy half term week!
