Join our Community Mental Health Team for West Wiltshire and Devizes in a role at the centre of community care, where your clinical leadership directly shapes how people are supported to live well at home.

Based at Green Lane Hospital, Devizes, you’ll work with service users who need a range of approaches, from assertive outreach to ongoing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of both mental and physical health needs. You’ll provide medical leadership, with a particular focus on patients from Melksham and Trowbridge surgeries.

A new opportunity is available for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Sarum Community Mental Health Team in Salisbury – a well-established, collaborative MDT where patient-centred care sits at the heart of everything we do.

Celebrating Our T‑Level Stars at AWP!

We’re proud to shine a spotlight on three incredible Mental Health T‑Level students who’ve been gaining hands‑on experience across our services - and already making a real impact.

💬 Vee has developed strong communication, empathy and active listening skills (and even mastered soup‑making for Soup Thursdays!). Her placement helped her secure three university offers to study Mental Health Nursing.

💬 Jayden says their placement has boosted their confidence and given them invaluable experience working with service users. They've loved learning about medications and hearing first‑hand insights from staff - and describes AWP as supportive and friendly.

💬 Layci Norman has enjoyed seeing service users progress and says the skills she’s gained have built her confidence for the future. After her T‑Level, she plans to take a gap year and is considering an apprenticeship with AWP.

We welcomed our first three T‑Level students in November 2025 and will be supporting even more soon!
