Looking after ourselves, our well-being and our mental health is so important in pregnancy and early parenting. We know that at times it can feel isolating and lonely in the newness of everything.
This session is that first step into your own self-care and will provide an opportunity to recognise and identify signs of feeling overwhelmed as well as signposts and suggestions of where to go for extra support.
Designed specifically for expectant mothers who want to prioritize their mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period, you will learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of common perinatal mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
We’ll provide you with the various tools you’ll need to equip you to manage. Our course will also cover the importance of self-care and provide practical strategies for prioritizing your mental health while balancing the demands of pregnancy and motherhood. We will explore coping mechanisms for stress and anxiety, mindfulness techniques, and relaxation exercises that can help you feel more grounded and centred during this transformative time.
By the end of this warm and supportive session, you will have a deeper understanding of the importance of mental health during pregnancy and beyond, and you will feel empowered to take proactive steps to support your own well-being.
