A very warm welcome to or new colleague, acupuncturist Andrew Kingsley. Andrew has a background in science and after completion of a Chemistry Ph.D, worked for a large Pharmaceutical/Chemical company for 15 years, working up to Research manager. However, it was whilst travelling around India and the Far East as a student that he became interested in natural methods of improving body and mind. After benefiting from holistic therapies, Andrew became interested in a more integrated approach to health and wellbeing, where the cause as well as the symptoms are considered. This led to him studying Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, qualifying in 2017. He also has advanced qualifications in Electro-acupuncture for sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions alongside Chinese Nutrition to help balance the underlying diagnosis.

We are so happy to announce that Sian has returned to the clinic. Sian has over 10 yearsโ€™ experience and set up her own practice in Twickenham, London, but she has more recently returned to her roots in the West Country. She uses a wide range of the most effective treatment techniques including standard osteopathic treatments, sports massage, cranial osteopathy and medical acupuncture and enjoys being able to make a difference to peopleโ€™s daily lives, no matter what their age or ability.

It was a pleasure and a privilege for James and I to be the only Osteopaths to work at the Commonwealth Games from the South West ๐Ÿ‘

We even got to meet Perry the Mascot ๐Ÿ˜

It was also a pleasure to see Prab, whom I worked with 10 years ago at the olympics!

We treat the World Champion in YOU!

We would like to welcome you to our Clinic.

Dave Inman established the first clinic in 2004 at Oldfield Surgery, working alongside local GPs. As the clinic grew, Dave opened Oldfield Osteopathic Clinic in June 2007. In addition to osteopathy the clinic offers a variety of complementary therapies including acupuncture, sports massage and gait analysis using the TOG gait scan system.

Osteopaths & Acupuncturist

Working alongside Dave are osteopaths Alex Earle and James Miles-Christiansen, joined by our acupuncturist Teresa Syed. The team have areas of special interest: Dave and James specialize in sports injury and Alex in paediatric osteopathy. All osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), which requires members to undertake continual professional development each year, ensuring a high level of competency and safety is maintained. Teresa is registered with the British Acupuncture Council.
