I’m still here šŸ˜…

I’ve not been posting very much lately. Losing track of time and days!

I am taking on a new role as an Advanced Pupil Support Worker and going back into schools, ASN schools, so I’m really excited about it!

I will still have time for the gym (super important!) and doing my online stuff as well.

So still available to do health and wellness plans ✨

My exercise and food choices haven’t been great this week.

I was sticking to the bike as it’s less thinking time trying to navigate which weights I am lifting and struggling because my body is fatigued.

But……

Something is better than nothing.

10 mins, 20 mins or even an hour. It all adds up.

Motivation comes with action. Action creates results.

Pushing through builds discipline and discipline helps you to create healthier habits, even during the toughest of times.

Just show up as best as you can. Pick yourself back up as soon as you can. Don’t stop. Don’t give up.

One minute, one hour, one day at a time 🫶

This client put in lots of effort and made incredible changes to her mental health, mindset and physical health.

She tried things she has never thought to try or had any interest in, and found the tools and strategies were actually very useful.

Who knew!? 🤪

If you think XYZ is crap and doesn’t work for you, then be honest with yourself, how much effort are you actually making? Are you trying different things to change the result?

My client is a testament to hard work, consistency and never giving up. No matter how terrible she felt her week went. Take her advice….

Don’t throw in the towel!

When you watch someone do what they love, you see their passion and fire inside. It’s incredible to witness and be a part of.

In life we should all have something that lights our soul up. That makes us feel alive, happy and excited. That in those moments we feel we are right where we are meant to be.

We are a product of the choices we make.

Think about this for a moment.

Where you are in your life right now, how healthy your mind and body is, is lead by the choices you have made up until now.

Yes we can be conditioned by our past experiences, from caregivers growing up, and traumas we have experienced. But there comes a time when it’s a choice. We refuse to recognise our patterns, or we recognise them but do nothing to help change them. It’s too much of an effort or we think ā€˜well that’s just the way I am’.

Some things are harder to change than others, some things maybe can’t be changed but managed a lot better.

In order to grow, heal and improve your health and wellness, ask yourself questions. Dig deep. Be brutally honest with yourself. It all begins with real and true self- awareness.

Your mental health is sh*t:
Do you do anything to help yourself feel better? Do you have boundaries to help protect your peace?

šŸ“What is it you do and don’t do that doesn’t improve your mental health?

Your physical health is deteriorating, you always feel unwell, illnesses and disease. Chronic pain and inflammation as examples:
How do you fuel your body? What’s your diet like? How often do you exercise?

šŸ“What do you do and don’t do that doesn’t help you improve your physical health?

Your emotional health and mindset hold you back:
Do you blame everyone else instead of looking at yourself and taking accountability? How emotionally resilient are you? How do you speak to yourself? Is your glass half empty? Do you believe all your thoughts?

šŸ“What do you do and don’t do that does not help you improve your emotional health and better your mindset?
