With effect from 1st June 2023, Signature at Beaconsfield is no longer being managed by Signature Senior Lifestyle. We would like to thank the wonderful residents, families, and team members at Beaconsfield for their support over the years.

Signature at Beaconsfield took a group of residents onto the Thames today, thanks to our friends at Rivertime Boat Trust. Skipper Lucy was brilliant, highlighting points of interest along the route and entertaining us all. Helen and Jorja added an extra special something by decorating the table and serving an afternoon tea during the cruise! The most perfect afternoon.

Signature at Beaconsfield have been out to thank the wonderful nurses who support us at the The Simpson Centre & Penn Surgery, along side the District and Community Nurses who visit our Home to conduct clinical procedures for residents, in the comfort of their suites. You are all amazing - Thank you for being their for us.

Celebrating Coronation Weekend Signature at Beaconsfield

What a wonderful weekend we’ve had celebrating King Charles III’s Coronation. The Home festooned in bunting – daily visits from talented entertainers - friends and families popping in - watching the Coronation Service together with a glass of fizz – a weather proofed Big Lunch with a Street Party in our beautiful dining room and finally supporting our local One Can Trust as part of the Big Help Out initiative.

We want to thank all of our team who have made this such a magical and truly memorable weekend. There has been a wonderful atmosphere throughout the home, we’ve just had the best time!

Signature at Beaconsfield is delighted to announce the winner of April’s Purple Heart Award is Kim, a very special member of our Dementia Care team. She has built the most beautifully caring relationships with all our residents and is a trusted, valued member of the team. Always happy, caring and thoughtful Thank you Kim for making such a difference everyday.

As part of Coronation celebration, Signature at Beaconsfield is taking part in TheBigHelpOut planned for Monday, 8th May.

What will the event involve?

Organisations across the UK are getting together to mark the Coronation by allowing everybody to make a difference in their community by volunteering.

And we are inviting and encouraging us all to contribute to the local One Can Trust, who currently provide food each week to over 750 people in need of assistance in the High Wycombe and surrounding areas.

We have placed a box at the entrance of the home along with a list of items most in need and hope that family, friends’, visitors and staff will make a donation to an essential charity, that is playing a very important role in our community.

Signature at Beaconsfield messing about on the water...

Rivertime Boat Trust invited us to join them for a trip along the Thames today. The founder of the Trust set it up to enable disabled and older people to enjoy a safe, supportive and stimulating environment with a Rivertime Cruise along the river.

They made us all so very welcome and ensured we had an afternoon to remember. We are looking forward to sharing this wonderful experience with more of our residents later in the Summer.
