You are warmly invited to the third (and now annual) Yuletide Yoga and Christmas yoga meet!

We’ll gather, clad in cozy socks and woolly jumpers in a hall lit by fairy light and filled with the aromas of the festive season, to enjoy some gentle, relaxing restorative yoga. After regarding our batteries, we’ll have some festive fun (think pass the parcel with boujee presents!), followed by a festive feast & a few Christmas singalongs!

This is perfect little pre Christmas treat to yourself (or for someone else)….a couple of hours respite from the rush of Christmas time to get into the spirit and a lovely opportunity to mingle with your fellow yogis!

Friends, family, neighbours all welcome, children too (must be happy to lay quietly on the floor for one hour), no experience necessary.

Aside from some Christmas music, there is no other mention of faith so those of all religions are welcome!

2/3 of tickets are now sold and the early bird price of £36 is available until the end of November!

First time for everything!

Just taught my first (proper!) Inside Flow class Friday community class via . These lovely souls joined from about 7500 miles away from the UK and were very patient when the tech failed half way through 🤣…..stresssssssed!!!! Turned it off for ten seconds and turned it back on … and voila! Back in the game! Why do things like this never happen when it’s just you there, but only at important times! What’s that all about!?

Song was by - “Don’t give up on me” - with the message of not giving up on something/someone you believe in, fight till the end for it, but with a deeper message of: don’t lose yourself in the process, remember to fight for yourself, your wants, your needs, desires and your future too.

Sequence by from the European summit. Perfect for online teaching as no turns 🤣🤣🤣! Thank you - taught this a few times now - I love it so much!

Perhaps I’ll be braver next time and let you know when/if I’m doing another one!

Now all my retreats are over for this year, I have a little more time to get back to Inside Flow…..

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the beautiful run by the gorgeous !

Couldn’t not share these fab photos of the multi teacher led birthday class a few weeks back (yes, from a few weeks ago, always behind on here 🤣).

Kicked things off with an Inside Flow warm up before handing over to the next teacher, who had their ten mins before handing over again, and so on, until the Cake and .drinks after party!

Many laughs, many smiles, many new connections made!

Very grateful to be part of the Madara teaching team. I’ve met so many lovely teachers here, and students alike. The studio just oozes love and warmth and it’s a total pleasure to be here! One thing I disliked about being a Chiropractor is that my colleagues were always in their rooms treating other patients so you were often alone in your room in between patients or on breaks if they weren’t also! Somehow there’s always chance for a chinwag with the teacher after you, or before you, or with the Natalie on reception here at Madara - and I LOVE this 💕. Community is everything.

Classes next week!

You might have noticed that Inside Flow & Studio classes aren’t appearing at the moment - they aren’t gone for good - I just needed to tweak my schedule to make my running-arounds and early starts/late evenings a bit more sustainable in the long run, and haven’t yet worked out the best place for them to reappear! Hope to have an update on these soon!

Trying to/finally living by my own teachings:

-Adapt or die
-Whatever you are not changing you are choosing
-Every decision you make, or do not make, moves you closer to a life you either love or hate
-Life by conscious design
-Life is not a dress rehearsal
-Beat burnout!!!!

Shameless selfie from the penultimate day of the Spain 2025 retreat when I managed to sneak in a little chill on the secret garden day bed, and listen to some of my fave tunes in the sun, while enjoying the view of rolling olive groves! For me, doing this is like being on top-speed-recharge!

The full photo and video download of a fab few days coming soon - but not that soon cos I’m clearly a bit slack on here at the moment!

All classes in Bucks covered this week again, and all classes as normal with me next week!

When yoga saves the day yet again!

Been on the struggle bus the last few months with a total block to getting back on the mat which I know sorts me out every time! If I haven’t practised for a while, I have these ridiculous thoughts that I’m gonna have lost so much flexibility / strength / grace / fluidity. The voice of reason “but it’s not even about that” doesn’t appear when it’s so desperately needed. And the self practise yoga drought therefore continues on :-(.

But somehow the voice of reason whispered loud enough for me to hear today, I counted down “54321, just fu! Lisa” (literally) and my mat and I were reacquainted and Ommmm was partially restored 🤣

So to anyone out there also on the struggle bus, also knowing they desperately need to get back onto their mat/spend more time there, and also experiencing unhelpful thoughts, count down from 5, and just do it - 5 mins, freestyle, no plan, no structure, who cares if you only do an asana on one side!

You’ve got this. And hopefully I have too 🥴
