The shoulder is one of the most complex joints in the body, relying on a fine balance of bones, muscles, and connective tissue to move well. When that balance is off, pain, stiffness, and restriction can quickly follow.

At Beaconsfield Health Hub, our osteopaths and physiotherapists look beyond the painful area to understand what’s really driving your symptoms. From shoulder and arm pain to everyday aches that won’t settle, we focus on improving movement, reducing strain, and helping you get back to doing what you love.

If something’s been bothering you for a while, don’t ignore it — get in touch or message us to book your appointment.

Shockwave treatment is a non-invasive therapy commonly used by osteopaths and physiotherapists to help manage persistent musculoskeletal pain and support tissue healing.

It works by delivering targeted shockwaves to the affected area, stimulating blood flow, encouraging tissue repair, and helping to reduce pain — all without surgery or downtime.

Shockwave therapy is often used for conditions such as:

✔️ Tendinopathies
✔️ Plantar fasciitis
✔️ Shoulder pain
✔️ Chronic soft tissue injuries

Treatment is quick, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual needs following a full assessment by one of our clinicians.

Available with our osteopaths and physiotherapists

Most people say they have a “bad back” at some point — but the spine is far more complex than that.

It’s made up of 24 moving vertebrae, discs that cushion and absorb shock, joints that guide movement, and nerves branching out at every level. All of these parts need to work together smoothly for you to move without pain.

A “bad back” can come from many different things, including:
• Stiff or irritated spinal joints
• Muscle tension or protective spasms
• Increased pressure on the discs
• Nerve irritation causing pain into the hips or legs
• Prolonged sitting or poor movement habits
• Old injuries that never fully settled

Pain can appear suddenly or build up slowly over time, making everyday tasks feel harder than they should.

At Beaconsfield Health Hub, our osteopaths & physios look at how the spine moves as a whole — not just the painful spot. Treatment focuses on easing tension, improving mobility, and helping you feel more confident in your movement again.

If your back hasn’t been feeling its best, we’re here to help you get things moving properly again.
