Earlier this week our West Riding and Craven Diabetic Eye Screening team had an unexpected festive guest… the Grinch himself!

In true mischievous style, he wasted no time causing chaos. He inspected our diabetic eye-screening equipment up close… poking, prodding and generally making a spectacle of himself. We’re pleased to confirm that after much dramatic eye-rolling, his eyesight was officially approved!

It certainly brought a bit of festive mischief to the team and everyone in the Asda store.

turned into over 400 and our teams smashed every step!

Our Lung Cancer Screening teams took on the challenge last month - walking (at least) 33 miles in honour of the 33,000 people lost to lung cancer in the UK each year.

The West Midlands team recently completed their group walk, powering through the cold with clear skies, high spirits, and support from an unexpected star: Frank the Labrador, who made a direct sprint for the lake. The walk brought the team together in the fresh air, with good conversation, and a well-earned hot chocolate at the finish.

We’re proud of the commitment and impact that our Lung Cancer Screening teams across the UK are making - raising an incredible amount of donations for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and they didn’t just hit their walking target...they exceeded it, walking more than 400 miles collectively this month! An outstanding achievement and a powerful show of what our teams can do for the communities and causes they serve.

Thrilled to announce a new diagnostics partnership with Perspectum, which will significantly expand access to advanced MRI and increase capacity at the Oxford Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). The Oxford CDC, one of NHS England’s leading sites, served more than 60,000 patients this year, a figure expected to climb to over 100,000 by 2027 through extended operating hours, additional facilities and expanded pathways delivered by InHealth.

Set to open in July 2026, the enhanced service will give Oxfordshire residents and self-pay patients convenient access to a broader range of MRI assessments that were previously available only in London or specialist centres. The aim is clear: shorten waiting times, bring diagnostics closer to home, and support clinicians with earlier and more accurate insight in the patient journey.

Volunteering spotlight! 💡
In the wake of Storm Claudia’s chaos, our colleague Louise put her remaining half-day volunteering allowance to powerful use, by joining Chiltern Rangers for a hands-on conservation mission.

Braving rain, mud, and even an unexpected outfit change, she spent the afternoon clearing storm debris and helping to restore the woodland, making the most of her fully paid volunteering entitlement while supporting a community that needed it most. Hear from Louise below…

We’re proud to offer all colleagues a fully paid volunteering day as part of our rewards and benefits package, empowering everyone to give back to the communities and causes they care about. Find out more here: https://www.insideinhealth.com/

Razzle dazzle at the In-House Recruitment awards 2025!

Our wonderful Talent and Onboarding team were recently nominated not once, but TWICE for an award at the annual In-House Recruitment Awards 2025, with Laura Harnett, Talent Acquisition Partner, up for In-House Recruiter (individual), and Charlotte Turton, our Head of Talent, nominated for In-House Recruitment Leader (individual)!

The official ceremony took place in London this week and we are absolutely delighted to announce that Charlotte went home with a Silver award! And while Laura didn't win, she is always a winner in our eyes and represented InHealth and her fantastic self brilliantly on the night.

We're so proud of their outstanding achievements, after going up against some really great competition.

These awards are such a great way of celebrating all the hard work, effort and commitment HR professionals put into finding amazing people to work with us, and in the healthcare sector, so we're really pleased that our team was so well recognised.

We’re honoured to have been invited to take part in a vital conversation on accelerating cancer innovation in the UK.

On 4 December, Toop, our Business Development Director - PET-CT & Specialised Services, will be joining the parliamentary panel discussion “From Research to Reality: Scaling Innovation in Cancer Treatment,” at the House of Commons.

The event will bring together leaders from across the cancer community to explore how the UK can turn research breakthroughs into real-world impact, improving outcomes and experiences for patients nationwide. We’re looking forward to collaborating with partners across the system at this event to make innovation in cancer care a reality for every patient.

We are incredibly proud of our fantastic Outer North East London Breast Screening team, who recently brought care and passion to a vibrant Bangladeshi community health event!

Colleagues Georgina and Aleya hosted a health-promotion stand, spending the day chatting with local residents about breast screening awareness, attendance, and overall wellbeing. With brilliant support from Bengali interpreters, every conversation was welcoming and accessible.

This is community outreach at its best - breaking down language barriers, building trust, and helping tackle health inequalities in an inclusive way. We couldn’t be prouder of the team’s commitment to making screening services easier to understand and access for everyone.

As a longstanding partner of the NHS, delivering the NHS Breast Screening Programme, InHealth remains dedicated to supporting our local communities and championing early detection for all. 💙

The future of screening starts TODAY!

The first men have now been invited to Prostate Cancer Research's ambitious £42m TRANSFORM trial.

We're delighted to be lending the support of our Patient Engagement Centre to provide a comprehensive booking service for the trial, along with MRI and clinic capacity across our Community Diagnostic Centres and mobile MRI scanners. The trial is the biggest screening study in a generation, testing the most promising prostate cancer screening techniques available to identify the safest, most accurate and most cost-effective way to screen men.

We cannot wait to see the impact this study will have and look forward to supporting now and in the future.

It’s International Men's Day 2025 - a global observance that celebrates the positive contributions and achievements of men, while addressing important issues affecting men's health, wellbeing, and gender equality.

This day provides us all with a great platform to promote discussions and actions that support men's physical and mental health, encourage positive role models, and advocate for a more inclusive society.

As a leading healthcare provider, we understand that early diagnosis is key... although statistics suggest that male health problems can take longer to be diagnosed than female often due to stigmas, taboos or lack of information. We want to remind our colleagues, patients and wider online networks to perform regular checks for any signs or symptoms that may indicate physical or mental health issues.

If you are a man it is important to know your risk for male-specific illnesses such as Prostate and Testicular cancer:

Our mental health is just as important as our physical health, but can sometimes be forgotten, so it's important to prioritise self-care. Here are some fantastic resources to check out for mental health:
