Ramadan Kareem from InHealth!

This week marks the start of the holy month of Ramadan, observed by millions of Muslims worldwide.

With more than 3,500 colleagues from over 70 nationalities, we recognise that we all have different backgrounds and beliefs...and they need celebrating!

So this month and every one after, we are committed to promoting inclusive language and gestures during the holy month of Ramadan.

Here's some handy tips that aim to empower our Muslim work colleagues during Ramadan:

🌙 Why not wish your colleague a Happy Ramadan or Ramadan Kareem? It is a simple gesture, but so appreciated
🌙 Keep it positive! Share positive affirmations with your Muslim peers supporting their commitment to their faith
🌙 Be flexible and considerate. Think about moving breaks to help out - fasting may take adjustment

We’re proud to share that the InHealth Mobile MRI team, in conjunction with Williams Medical Supplies, has donated a life-saving Defibrillator and several sets of spare pads to BASICS Scotland as part the Community Benefit Scheme!

This vital equipment will directly support BASICS Scotland’s network of highly trained volunteer responders, enabling them to deliver rapid defibrillation at the scene of cardiac arrests - particularly in Scotland’s rural and remote communities where every minute counts.

Early defibrillation significantly increases survival rates, and having access to additional devices and spare pads ensures responders are always prepared when called upon.

We are delighted to contribute to strengthening pre-hospital emergency care and supporting the incredible work carried out across Scotland.

Together, we can help save lives ❤️

Your vision matters.

If you have diabetes, you will be regularly invited for diabetic eye screening.

Screening is important because when eye problems are caught early, they can be treated more effectively, before you notice changes to your sight.

Find out more at nhs.uk/des or on our website here: https://buff.ly/fjfkbQp

InHealth has proudly partnered with the NHS for nearly 15 years to deliver diabetic eye screening across 19 of England’s 57 programmes - supporting over 1.8 million people in protecting their sight.

What better way to welcome in the month of February, than to officially share that our new charity partner for 2026 is Children with Cancer UK!

Children with Cancer UK is a charity dedicated to saving and improving young lives affected by childhood cancer. Founded in 1987 by Marion and Eddie O’Gorman in memory of their children, Paul and Jean, the charity has spent over 35 years funding research, supporting families and raising awareness.

Their mission is clear and powerful: a future where every child and young person survives cancer and receives the best possible care, no matter their circumstances or location.

As a corporate partner, every pound we raise will go directly towards supporting families affected by childhood cancer and driving essential research into new treatments and potential causes. The money we raise for Children with Cancer UK helps to improve childhood cancer survival rates and keep families together for longer.

We have a brilliant track record when it comes to fundraising, including skydives, challenges, PJ days, raffles… you name it, our teams have thrown themselves into it! And this year, our teams are once again ready and raring to get raising funds for Children with Cancer UK!

You can help to start our fundraising off by donating to our dedicated Just Giving page here: https://buff.ly/GPgHRLs

We are pleased to share that our Gender Pay Gap Report for 2024–25 is now available, which we have published in line with the government’s gender pay gap reporting requirements.

This work continues to be an important tool for supporting fairness and equity across InHealth. The insights it provides help guide our ongoing efforts to embed equality, diversity and inclusion throughout our organisation and minimise the potential for bias.

Alongside the statutory data, we have included further narrative outlining the actions we are taking to help reduce the gender pay gap and build an inclusive, equitable workplace where everyone can thrive.

Big news for Cornwall - the Camborne and Redruth Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) had it's official ribbon cutting ceremony today!

The Minister of State for Health, Karin Smyth MP, officially opened the site that is now welcoming patients and delivering faster access to vital NHS tests and scans - right next to Camborne Redruth Community Hospital.

Having started welcoming patients in December, we have already supported 1,200 patients who have attended for appointments including: X‑rays, MRI and CT scans, blood tests, ECGs, respiratory checks and endoscopy - all under one roof, for quicker diagnoses and faster treatments.

In partnership with NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board, and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, this CDC will strengthen community healthcare services across a wide region, covering Camborne, Pool, Redruth and West Cornwall, and directly supporting the NHS 10‑year plan to bring care closer to home.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this possible. We’re proud to continue supporting the NHS, with shorter waiting times, and bringing care closer to home for the people of Cornwall.

This World Cancer Day, we’re recognising how essential accessibility is to achieving earlier diagnosis, and raising awareness for better prevention and treatment options.

We are proud to highlight the active role that InHealth plays in helping to create a cancer-free world. We are pleased to provide a range of diagnostic and healthcare services, from Lung Cancer Screening that helps to identify lung cancers and diseases, to delivering the NHS Breast Screening programme that routinely screening eligible women for earlier diagnosis against breast cancer, and many many more.

Barriers such as communication needs, travel challenges, site accessibility and past experiences can all affect whether a patient attends, understands or feels comfortable during their appointment.

At InHealth, we work to reduce these barriers across our services — from providing reasonable adjustments, translation support and chaperones, to designing accessible environments and delivering care closer to communities in partnership with NHS Trusts.

Every adjustment, however small, helps prevent delays that could impact diagnosis and treatment.

We remain committed to making our services more inclusive, accessible and easier to use, so patients can be seen, supported and referred onward at the earliest opportunity.

Watch through the carousel to see how improving accessibility supports faster, earlier cancer diagnosis.
