📣 Signature Senior Lifestyle has successfully gone live with its new sales and resident billing platform, supplied by CareHQ. This week marked the final stage of the project, with the successful migration of all resident data now complete.

💬 Melanie Grigg, Head of Projects said: “CareHQ’s product aligns with Signature’s goal of having customer and resident information in one place, from initial enquiry right through to the final invoice. This marks an important milestone for us and forms a key part of our wider IT transformation programme, focused on improving data integrity through seamless integration and simple, easy-to-use systems for our team members. Huge thanks to the team involved for getting us over the line, particularly during the complexity of full resident migration, and to our partners at Care HQ for their support throughout.”

Build Update: Signature at Hornchurch 🏗️🌿

Construction at Signature at Hornchurch is progressing well, and it’s exciting to see the vision coming to life.

The gardens are beginning to take shape and will offer beautiful spaces for residents and their families to enjoy - including features such as giant chess and a boules pitch. The home will also offer a secure, sensory garden for those with dementia, offering opportunities for circular walks or relaxation, with activities including gardening & lawn games.

Up on the roof, we have integrated our renewable technology and eco-conscious design, shaping the next generation of Signature homes. From solar PV panels, high levels of insulation, use of greener materials and reduction of waste, sustainability is embedded at every stage of the build.

We’re proud to be creating homes that are thoughtfully designed for both people and the planet. 🌍✨

📅 IDDSI Training 📅

Highgate Hospitality Manager, Swapnil, delivered International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) training to staff and managers across our homes.

IDDSI is a globally recognised framework that standardises food textures and drink thickness levels to support people with swallowing difficulties, helping to reduce risk and ensure safe, dignified dining experiences.

The session included:
✔️ An overview of IDDSI and its importance
✔️ Explanation of the different IDDSI levels
✔️ A quiz to assess staff knowledge and understanding
✔️ Practical testing, where the chef prepared meals for staff to test and experience the different IDDSI levels

This engaging and practical training supports our ongoing commitment to high-quality, safe, and person-centred care across all our homes. 👏

❤️ We are pleased to announce that we have raised over £1,352 for the British Heart Foundation!

Around twice as many people in the UK are living with heart disease than Alzheimer’s and cancer combined. The numbers are staggering. The is the biggest independent funder of research into cardiovascular disease, striving for breakthroughs in diagnosing, treating, and preventing it.

For this reason, we wanted to show our support. Residents and team members at our homes worked tirelessly through the autumn of 2025 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, assisting life-changing research.

Signature at Bentley House was the biggest donor across all the homes, contributing a fantastic £216 to the cause!

We are confident these donations will go a long way toward improving the lives of people living with cardiovascular issues, and we are grateful to have been able to contribute to the hard work and commitment of the British Heart Foundation.

💚⚽What an afternoon at Hendon FC! ⚽💚

Our Hendon Hall home were delighted to be Boardroom Sponsors of last week’s game, where John, resident Hendon superfan, braved the cold to enjoy an exhilarating 4 – 4 draw!

John had a truly memorable day: he met the Hendon FC manager and chairman, chose the Man of the Match, and even presented them with a bottle of bubbly 🥂

A huge thank you to Hendon FC and Silver Jubilee Park Charitable Foundation for such a warm welcome and a fantastic afternoon of football and community spirit.

We’re already looking forward to returning in June for our big charity match (hopefully with much warmer weather!) ☀

👚 We have recently worked with Red Oak Wear to add a minor but meaningful detail to the Onna trouser range for our care teams, helping to further improve the quality of care provided to our residents.

Based on feedback from carers, a small loop has been added to the side of the trousers - a convenient addition that allows lanyards to be securely attached when providing care. This removes the need to tuck lanyards into the top of tunics or take them off entirely, which carers have told us was previously necessary.

This new loop, designed in collaboration with Premier and available through Red Oak, will improve the efficiency of care provided. By removing distractions and awkward lanyard placements, this simple change will be revolutionary for both our care teams and the experience of our residents.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our winter flower arrangements in our 11 Signature homes!



We have worked with Amarante London (tag) to source these beautiful, preserved flowers that are both environmentally friendly and ethically sourced.

Amarante maintains direct farming partnerships which avoids extensive carbon emissions associated with transporting fresh flowers. With their natural preservation formula, the life of the flowers is captured and they stay fresh for up to three years.

We are excited to see these flowers on display in each of our homes, brightening up the living space with pretty colours and subtle scents.
