Today, something truly hit me.

I realised—really realised—how the space I’ve created is touching lives in ways I never imagined. People often ask whether the change I made has been impactful, whether it’s changed my life.

And today, I can finally say this with my whole heart: yes. Yes, it has.

Because when a client walks in carrying the weight of their world… and as she lays there, tears running down her face, she repeatedly whispers “thank you”… and leaves lighter, softer—that is impact.

To be there for someone in the exact moment they need it most… it’s beyond rewarding. It’s humbling. It’s healing.

These past few weeks, stepping back into a full-time treatment-based role, something in me has awakened again. This work—these people, these moments, these raw, heartfelt conversations—

this is therapy.

Not just for them, but for me too.

Every man and woman who steps into this space brings a piece of their story, their truth, their vulnerability. And every day, I’m reminded why this is so close to my heart.

Until today, I’ve tried to keep this a “faceless” social media account — I think that’s what they call it!

I was never really into social media, but as our business has grown, I’ve realised how much the world (and the way we connect) has changed. I was once told that one day I’d have to go on social media — and I quietly hoped that day would never come. Yet here we are.

As more of you walk through our doors and hear our story, it feels right to show our faces — the same way we show up when you come to experience ohmkara. I’ll be honest, I don’t love taking photos or being on video, and talking to a camera still makes me nervous… but it’s something I’m learning to embrace.

Looking back over the last two years, I feel nothing but gratitude. ohmkara has changed our lives in ways we could never have imagined. Creating such a unique, heartfelt experience for others — and watching it grow — has been an incredible journey.

The first step to putting a face to this account starts with our little family trio — the heart and soul behind ohmkara.
(And let’s just say… asking a 6-year-old for a photo? This is the best we got! 😅)
