Canolfan Beaumaris are crowdfunding to support the development of their wellness provision which supports vulnerable people in our community, who may be experiencing ill health, recovering from medical interventions or have life changing poor health conditions. The aim is to increase availability of complementary therapies (including Osteopathy) by creating more therapy rooms; and to development spaces used for the National Exercise Referral Scheme. Popped along to see my lovely colleague Rob at Origin Osteo today for a bit of long overdue osteopathic fine tuning (here's one we took earlier when we met to do some training together in June). Long chat about electrolyte balance, cortisol and the parasympathetic nervous system. Rob made sure that my pelvis, upper lumbars, hamstrings, calf muscles and ankle were all in integrated balance (I did give him a long list!) and then sent me off to finish sorting out my jaw at home (I love a TMJ treatment, so that's me happy for the afternoon!) Thanks Rob🙏🏼🙏🏼

I'm in absolute awe of one of my amazing patients who completed the Anglesey Ring o' Fire 130 mile ultra event this weekend in just over 46 hours! An experienced ultra runner, she first visited my clinic in March after she began struggling to run more than 10 miles without low back spasms. I'm so happy to have been a small part of her journey and blown away by such resilience and determination! A big and belated shout out too to my patients who ran the Lakeland Trails Ultra 100k in July and the She Ultra 50k in April. You are super humans! 🙏🏼💕

Great CPD this evening with the British Association of Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), looking at managing hypermobility in musicians, vocalists and dancers. 🎻🎺🎤🎶🩰. Thoroughly up my street! I am a BAPAM registered practitioner (and I think possibly the only one in North Wales) and I offer a discount if you're registered with them. If you work or study in the performing arts you can register with BAPAM - British Association for Performing Arts Medicine for free and this only takes a few minutes. BAPAM advise performing artists about a wide range of support including financial assistance, health education, peer support and clinical resources. 🎶🎺🩰🎤🎻
