We had a lovely day on friday we travelled to Transylvania in the afternoon then we dressed up already for Halloween. Then this morning some of the residents enjoyed a game of bingo and a trivia. This afternoon we were visited by the armed forces support officer and some veterans who came along to talk to our residents they had afternoon tea and cake enjoying an afternoon reminiscing.

We had a lovely day on Wednesday decorating the Halloween tree we lisenened to scary music and enjoyed balloon tennis whilst having a nice cuppa with some biscuits .

We have had lots of fun this week doing jigsaws , having ago at Halloween crafts. We had a game of who am I , we played the ping pong Cup game , giant snakes and ladders, we had a musical afternoon where we sang along to 1940s songs and played the instruments. We have also been doing our exercises.

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to work 3 days per week (8:30–4:30) — days are flexible — under our Maintenance Manager.

✅ Driving licence essential
✅ On-call every other weekend
✅ Must have an interest in property management
✅ Varied, rewarding role helping keep our homes running smoothly

🎃 TRICK OR TREAT 🎃
We are inviting families & children to come trick or treating at Dell House on Friday 31st October from 5pm - 6pm. We hope that you can come along; the residents will be thrilled to see the children dressed up 😁

Yesterday we had a W I party where we dressed up as older people 🧑‍🦳, which was a lot of fun 🤣 We also had the fabulous Charlene sing for us 🎤 . She sang some 1940's classics and our residents sang along with her and some also had a little dance 🕺 and played musical instruments 🪇🎵. The residents also enjoyed cheese scones and cake 🎂 followed with cocktails, prosecco 🍹🥂 or tea and coffee ☕️ . A joyful afternoon was had by all 😀

Sports Day was a big hit!
We had a lot of fun, and all the residents who joined in played games throughout the morning. It was very competitive, with everyone trying their best to score points.

In the afternoon, we had an egg-and-spoon race and handed out awards to celebrate the day. A fantastic time was had by all!

We have had a lovely morning painting autumn crafts, listening to Doris Day on cd. We also had a general knowledge quiz.

We are celebrating one of our residents 90th birthday today, playing ball games and trying to solve riddles and wordsearches 💐💜

Over the weekend the residents have been playing games, enjoying quizzes and baking rock cakes 🥮and cookies 🍪 . They finished their Sunday afternoon watching My fair lady 📽 and singing along to the songs 🎤
