Yesterday Langley school choir visited us and entertained the residents by singing Christmas carols 🎵🎙🎄. The residents sang along and enjoyed listening to the children's harmonies. Afterwards we all had a refreshing drink ☕️🥛🧁and a cupcake 🎵

We have 2 festive hampers in our Christmas fete this year ,we also have guess the weight of the cake, name the reindeer and a large tombola and pin the nose on the reindeer.
The fete is this Saturday the 13th December at 2pm we also have the accordion man and Gwyn Pritchard performing for us.

We have had a busy few weeks we have had a visit from Elvis he was very good and the residents had a good sing a long.

We had a lovely day on friday we travelled to Transylvania in the afternoon then we dressed up already for Halloween. Then this morning some of the residents enjoyed a game of bingo and a trivia. This afternoon we were visited by the armed forces support officer and some veterans who came along to talk to our residents they had afternoon tea and cake enjoying an afternoon reminiscing.

We have had lots of fun this week doing jigsaws , having ago at Halloween crafts. We had a game of who am I , we played the ping pong Cup game , giant snakes and ladders, we had a musical afternoon where we sang along to 1940s songs and played the instruments. We have also been doing our exercises.

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to work 3 days per week (8:30–4:30) — days are flexible — under our Maintenance Manager.

✅ Driving licence essential
✅ On-call every other weekend
✅ Must have an interest in property management
✅ Varied, rewarding role helping keep our homes running smoothly
