This specialist therapy helps to improve the functioning of the Lymphatic system by removing excess waste products from the tissues encouraging a detoxifying effect thereby supporting the immune system. The gentle, rhythmic and calming techniques promote deep relaxation and can aid in pain relief and accelerated healing. Treatment is individually designed depending on presenting symptoms and various chronic conditions may be improved such as oedema, acne, sinusitis, rheumatoid arthritis, IBS etc… A course of treatment is often recommended.

This treatment is for 1 hour.

Holistic Therapy aims to restore balance to the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual; by creating balance the body will have the opportunity to self-heal.

At the beginning of March Kathryn, sister and friends joined 2500 people in this years iconic Grizzly run from Seaton in Devon. Kathryn did the shorter 9 mile cub distance where they faced a cold river crossing, a mile of beach running and a brutal climb up the infamous “stairway to heaven” before retracing their steps back to Seaton to complete this challenging 9 mile race.

Staying hydrated is essential for your overall health; here are some tips to help you increase your water intake and maintain hydration.

💧Understand your fluid needs - The National Academies of Science recommends about 2.7 litres for women and 3.7 litres for men daily, including fluids from food and other beverages.
💧Keep a reusable water bottle with you - It's a convenient hydration tool to keep you on top of your daily intake
💧 Replace other drinks with water - try making healthier beverage choices by choosing water over caffeinated drinks, sugary drinks or alcohol
💧 Flavour your water - if water feels boring but would like to up your daily intake, try adding some fruits such as lemons, limes, oranges or berries or some mint leaves. This can make drinking water more enjoyable
💧Set a daily goal - establish a specific water intake goal, for example 1 litre a day. Tracking your progress can help you stay motivated
💧Drink one glass of water before each meal - this not only helps with hydration but can also aid digestion and control appetite
💧Sip throughout the day - by keeping water bottles within reach of your desk, in your car or frequently used spaces helps to prompt regular sips

When it comes to choosing nutritional snacks, it's important to focus on whole foods that provide essential nutrients. Here are some tips:

🍏 Choose less processed snacks - Opt for whole foods such as fresh fruit slices with nut butter, raw vegetables with whole-grain crackers or nuts and seeds
🍎Make homemade snacks - If you have time and enjoy being in the kitchen, try making your own. This gives you the advantage of being able to customize them to your taste
🍏 Read the nutrition facts panel - Check the ingredient statement and nutrition facts panel to choose options with less fat, saturated fat or sugar. Look for lighter, reduced fat/salt and sugar-free options
🍎Keep a healthy snack in your bag - This way, you'll always have a healthy snack on hand when you're feeling hungry
