I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, registered with the National Board for Hypnotherapy and the National Board for Modern Psychotherapy. I hold Diplomas in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Before becoming a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I was a qualified Solicitor, and after that, a Massage Therapist. As interesting and varied as these professions were, they cannot compare with the immense feeling of satisfaction that I get from practising as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and being able to witness the change in people's lives. We all have, at some point in our lives, suffered with stress and anxiety. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is an excellent way of relieving these conditions, and many others. 💭Myth 1: ‘Hypnotherapy is mind control.’
✅Reality: You remain fully aware and in control throughout. It is a guided process, during which you can hear every word, make decisions and open your eyes whenever you wish.

💭Myth 2: ‘It’s just relaxation, the same as a pamper day.’
✅Reality: A part of hypnotherapy is relaxation, but it goes further than that. Hypnotherapy accesses your subconscious patterns that drive behaviour. These are often automatic stress responses and self-doubt spirals that operate below conscious awareness, which is exactly why just talking about them does not create lasting change.
