So today I have spent time relaxing and going to see a friend whose birthday it was then came home and saw patients! I did practice what I preach and actually had an hours rest before diving in to work. It's something that we often dont think about but need to, to ensure we manage the stresses and strains of life and our mental energy. I know again ages since i have been on live but soooo much has been going on! I have just become a columnist on an online newspaper as well as doing som Vlogs for the Institute of Osteopathy and whilst seeing my patients and teachingnsomething had to give! Its all about balance -ooh nicely linked to my first article! Have a read and let me know what you think?!

As an Osteopath and Coach I advocate an 80/20 principle (good/not so good) of balance in life, but as a fallible human I don’t alway manage it and achieve 60/40…

I have had a busy weekend what with teaching on the Paediatric course at UCO and then completing the final session on my online course for therapists which has been wonderful to run and I have had such amazing feedback!

Stay safe all. A few tips to ensure your room is cool
* open the windows early in the morning before it gets hot
* as temperatures start to rise close the windows and the curtains to keep the cool air in
* cool rather than cold showers
* feet in a bowl of cool water

If you can manage to find a lovely cool spot then go for it!
