Where it all began...

Hi, my name is Jen. I am the owner of Lunar Spirit Wellbeing formally known as The Healing Shed.

I have always had a passion for alternative therapy, since my childhood years I collected crystals and burned incense, my mother used essential oils around the home and for medicinal purposes. I was fascinated by the human body and how it worked.

I started my journey in learning anatomy and physiology in 2003, I went on to study reflexology that same year. That is where I met my Reiki master and teacher, I was intrigued by Reiki and soon loved the spiritual insight learning Reiki gave me. I continued to add on different therapies to my skill set over the years including massage, Indian head massage, beauty therapy. I had other jobs along the way but always got drawn back to holistic therapy. In 2014 I completed my Reiki masters and teachers course, I felt the pull to teach and pass on the wonderful gift of Reiki.

I worked from my lounge to start with but I had a vision of something much much bigger!!

The Healing Shed was created in 2015 in my back garden, I wanted to create a place with character where my clients can fully relax, a safe non judgemental place to heal and realign.

Unfortunately I was taken ill and unable to work much at all but I held onto my vision and my knowledge of holistic therapy was in fact the driving force on my road to recovery. I found comfort in meditation and was introduced to midfullness, I found the results of daily practice, changing my mindset dramatically improved my physical and mental wellbeing, so I decided to train as a meditation and mindfulness instructor, I was living proof this stuff worked and I wanted to share that with every person I met.

In December 2017 I could return to work, the buiness has gone from strength to strength, I am eternally grateful to each and everyone of you that have supported me and my passion for wellbeing. Most recently in 2019 I have trained to be a life coach and an Anxiety Release Practitioner.

I have combined my 18yrs experience in the wellbeing industry , my professional qualifications, also drawing on my own personal journey with anxiety, mental health I offer you the opportunity to take hold of your life, remove blockages ,master your mind, be free from anxiety, I will give you the tools to make permenant changes in your life. I belive we can recover from absolutely anything with the right guidance, I can show you how..!!!

Here at Lunar Spirit Wellbeing I offer many holistic treatments, facials, meditation/mindfulness group or 1:1 sessions, master your mind and anxiety coaching, spiritual workshops, Reiki courses. I am also available for interview, guest blogs or corporate wellness days.
