🫶 After Care Advise 🫶
After any Holistic Therapy it’s important to remember the following in order to get the maximum benefits from your treatment and to avoid any side effects as far as possible
💧Drink lots of water- this is probably THE most important thing you can do! After any Holistic Therapy, especially massage lots of toxins have just been released and are now flowing through your body needing to be flushed out. Drinking water 🚰 is going to help flush them out quicker and replenish you at the same time. If you only listen to one thing your therapists tells you to do, let it be this one! If you don’t you may feel more tired, lethargic and groggy 🥴
🛋️ Rest and relax. You’ve spent the time and money having a holistic treatment to take care of yourself, make sure you follow it through by resting and taking it easy as much as possible!
❌ Avoid alcohol, ni****ne, unhealthy substances and strenuous exercise. After holistic therapies your body is working hard to eliminate toxins both physical and emotional. Please don’t add more work for your body.
🥗 Eat a light diet- avoid heavy meals immediately after to allow your body to concentrate on healing and eliminating toxins.
If you can follow this advice for 24 hours after your treatment you will definitely feel so much better!
It’s normal to sometimes experience some side effects (sometimes known as a ‘healing crisis’) after holistic treatments such as a headache, feeling tired, emotional and a bit groggy even. This is because you’ve got a lot of toxins being released and they need to be eliminated- hence the above tips. Having said this it’s also very normal and much more common to feel absolutely fantastic afterwards and experience a surge of energy, elevated mood, looser muscles etc. Where possible you should still take it easy and follow the above advise.
These symptoms can last for up to 72 hours in some cases, very rarely they do but they are natural and will pass. The BEST thing you can do for your body is drink lots of water, and rest.
The BEST thing you can do for your mind and soul is to allow it to release, anything that you’ve been holding onto energetically that isn’t serving you, just let it go ❤️
